Somewhat sloppy post

I’m slightly stressed with school starting so sorry for the lower amount of formatting on this post but I can’t be bothered to try and find nice images etc >_<
my new teachers are really meh and one (electricity) is giving us the “deliberately hardest test” of the semester this week/the second week of school worth 10% of our grade like wat??

This was the 4th entry in my challenge me.
And wow, that was a cinematic experience.
The visuals were stunning and while I wasn’t sure what I thought of the combo based attack style near the start it grew on me.
At least it wasn’t a button mashing sort of thing.
In terms of story…the fact that it was based in roman times means they could include all sorts of hardships and have a “mature” theme full of racism againsed the barbarians without it coming across as political.
I also thought it was cool how the final boss fight thats an actual boss fight is againsed this wild girl leading the enemy army.
And again it was done in such a way that it didn’t come across as political.

It was also really fond of severing limbs oh my like half of the killing moves have you severing thire arms/legs/head as they reach out towards you before bashing them to the ground.
In the end it was a nice experience (for I consider this a experience more than a simple game) and I thank ninglor(ious) for challenging me with it.

This game…I knew it was trash but I also had a strange morbid curiosity “how bad could it be?” however I couldn’t be bothered to actually buy it myself so I’ve been entering all the GA’s for it for a few weeks now.
Welp I won it and ended up playing through it.
and yes…it was trash.
Everything I had heard about it was true down to the shitty controls (oh god trying to bring stuff towards you or away using telekinesis when its basically is first person is friggen painful and the idiomatic puzzles with no hints on what you have to do.
the only thing I missed is the fact that you need to idle the game for 40hrs to get a single cheevo despite the fact it takes like 15hrs to get **everything else**. and you have to be in game it doesn’t count time alt-tabed out or in the settings.
and so I’ve been sitting in the corner of a room for the past two days racking up time.
sigh
do I have a problem? why did I feel like It was important that I got this cheevo.
Anyways I can’t say I had fun but I can’t be too disappointed for I ignored all the warning signs. also heard the dmake is better so now I kinda want to try that…
is it bad that I’m now happy it shoved up my “won games” stats by adding 40 hrs to the play time etc? is this cheating :3< I feel like this is cheating

Anyways I have one more game left on my challenge and I’m on my next two games on my ABC plan.
