☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Alice’s Patchwork took me roughly three full seasons of Will and Grace to complete.

Out of all the traditional jigsaw puzzles as steam games I’ve played, I actually think this one is my favorite. This big draw with this one, for me, was working with mosaics rather than traditional jigsaw-puzzle shapes. When I was a little girl (and even now) I would self-soothe by finding nicely-shaped things to just run my fingers over, tracing the different shapes, and these pieces hit that urge for me. Each ‘world’ has a different material the patchworks are made out of - cloth, glass, stone, gems, wood - and the textures are nice and the pieces fit together with a satisfying ‘click’.

There are a LOT of these friggin things so if you want something to keep you occupied for a while. There’s 120 of them, in fact, with no repeats. Some of them show part of Alice’s story, but most of them are just general fairy-tale images that are charming nonetheless. Also great for kids!

That’s about all. Yay puzzles!

Next up: I won a Playing Appreciated giveaway! Next up is -

See you soon!

I said to myself that I won’t download any new games and finish the ones I got already, but this really really made me want to play it. And I own the second on too sigh there goes all my free time.

Hold fast, mousewithbeer! (unless you have a very very long television serious to watch and you need something to do with your hands, this is a very cute way to do this.)

I have been watching a movie when playing it earlier actually. Ignoring the fact that the movie was very sad I very much enjoyed my time. All of my puzzle games are played while watching something actually (I watched like 8 seasons of Bones while playing Pixel Puzzles Ultimate in the past couple of months). I can not stand the silence while solving puzzles and I can not stand to just sit there doing nothing but watching something so it is a win-win situation for me :)

Aw, I’m really looking forward to play this… at some point! :)

Have fun with the Vampires!
Happy HOG killing :)

Wow, 38 hours– that’s some serious dedication!
I enjoyed Vampire Legends…I thought it was a good HOG.

I’m glad to hear it! I’m going to try to start it today.
Though I always say, the best HOG is a gift HOG

We’re all mad here.

My biggest issue with this game has been the speed aspect - I only ever get 2 keys on levels, aside from some very early on ones xP

Riley, my dear friend, I had the same problem as you did (remember: I hate time challenges) but I found a work around:

Start a mosaic. As soon as you do, hit pause. Go to options. Hit ‘relaxed mode’. The clock stops! You’ll get your third key no matter what. (If you want the ‘coin’ bonus for great time, turn off relaxed mode right before you place the last piece.)

Go forth and game the system! Disregard time challenges, get money.

Omg, tsundere, I love you so much right now.
