☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I think I just spent 3 dollars on about one-sixth of a visual novel because nothing happens in this game.

Real talk: I got Last Days of Spring 2 in a bundle, and I figure what the hell, let me play. When I started it up, the first screen tells me that the devs strongly advise me to play the first one first. It’s only 3 dollars. All right, fine, I thought. Why not.

That’s a damn dirty lie, and anything you need to know about this game going into the sequel would take maybe three paragraphs tops. Tops.

I’m going to be charitable and say that this was just their first game. The only thing worth salvaging is the art - and these aren’t even sprites that have different expressions or poses or anything, it’s just one character sprite each. I mentioned this in a previous comic, but I like this art because it reminds me of an old shoujo manga. That’s it.

It’s…. god, it’s weird. ignore the playtime because, again, I leave games running so so much. Playing this straight through without distraction would take an hour and fifteen minutes, tops. Each ‘ending’ is literally six or seven lines, and that’s it. A truncated game, an easy 100%, and nothing else.

Next up:

See you soon!
