Horror walking simulator

Another game for our current Challenge Me-Edition. This was much better than Bad Rats Show, well no surprise. The game is made by a russian developer, so the setting is based on somewhere in Russia after a catastrophe. They do not often talk about the actual cause, but there are letters and other stuff that talk about a pandemie of some virus. You are stranded in the middle of nowhere with another guy and try to survive.

This is mostly a walking simulator, where you can find a lot of stuff laying around you can read/watch. But you also need to collect food and medicine to survive and there are a few moments, where you make use of a pistol and a machine gun to stay alive.

There are three endings, and almost all achievements are missable. Got about 50% in my first playthrough after about 4-5 hours. Took me another 3-4 hours to complete the two other endings and get all remaining achievements with a guide.

Voiceover is completely russian, but there are subtitles in english. With a couple of typos, but that isn't so much of a problem

Looks pretty nice, creepy and mysterious. Put it on my wish list even though I’m so scared with these kind of games, but I like the thrill as well…

I really thought the worst thing about 35mm was the painful gunfight you have to go through twice in the game (the wolves and the metro statues). Other than that it was quite an interesting walking simulator.

Daerphen

yeah, the gun fights I was not expecting. It was a bit frustrating and it feels so wrong in a walking simulator. But they were not as bad as I first thought after replaying it.

Hi! Sorry for bothering, but could you tell me, how to add game stats like you did it in your post?

Daerphen

you need to paste the HTML code of the list item into your post.

  • go to any of your lists
  • right click on one of the games and select “Inspect Element”
  • you should see the HTML code, copy the <li>... <li/> part and surround it with a <ul class="games"></ul>
  • apply additional formatting
