Max Payne 2 is finished! Even though you didn’t require it, I ended up taking a screenshot at the end screen, linked it in the table. Also uploaded some screenshots from the playthrough.
Now while I’m at it, I thought I might as well play Max Payne 3 and finish the series for this month, but I’m probably going to take a small break between these two. :)
This month I’ll go with Witcher 2 (not halfway yet so it still counts right?), Mafia 2, and Mass Effect 2. Huh lots of 2s there.
I doubt this will happen but if I get to it in time, maybe Mass Effect 3 as well :)
Wait no I can’t do Mafia 2 can I? I only have about an hour of gameplay left

We can try this two ways. Either you mark the whole part of an table , rightclick it and choose the “View Selection Source”. That way you’ll get the commands listed and you just have to copy&paste it. Oooooooor I could write it down for you leaving out the first <, so you just have to add that.
Maybe try the first and just tell me, if that’s not working out, then we’ll do the other one? ;)

Can I count “Pahelika” as a series? It would only contain two games - “Pahelika: Secret Legends” and “Pahelika: Revelations”.

Oh boy, work got me hard this month, it took me nearly a week to finish the first “Pahelika” D: But it was more than worth it despite another broken achievement (maybe it’s some kind of tradition for the series?). Also, since it’s only middle of september, I added a “Nightmares from the Deep” series as my next goal for this Monthly Theme :)

Well in the end I managed to finish two out of three “Nightmares from the Deep” in september :)
I’ll definitely be coming back for the rest of achievements in the second part of the series and to play the third one, because those games are just so awesome, but I guess I’m done for this month. Thank you for organising and managing this event and see you in next Monthly Theme! ;)

I started playing Final Fantasy Type 0 about a week ago and have just under 9 hours played according to the game, but Steam itself is bugging out and says that I only have five minutes played (and no achievements, even though there are plenty that I should have). Would it still count for the theme if I beat it but can’t use the Steam connection to prove it?
Yes. Because I decided to make this one work on trust and not on proof. So if you say, you did it, I believe you :)
So have lots of fun playing it and ignore steam cheevos and all that - unless you hunt them, then don’t :D

Alright, just managed to finish up Dishonored before the month was through. What a great game! I went for a non-lethal, no-alert, “ghost” playthrough - because it seemed like the right way, and the fun way, to play the game - and it was a blast! It’s the first real stealth game I’ve played, and I’m surprised how much I loved it. I can’t wait for the DLC to go on sale so I can continue with the story.

I didn’t see a way to view the source before, but I realize that was my mistake. In Chrome, I had to highlight and select Inspect, and then I highlight the ‘div class=”markdown”’ part and select “Copy Element.” Then all I’d need to do is paste, and change the contents within the HTML, which is more work because of the tags, but much easier to read than changing things within the markdown formatting.
So thank you as well, now I have two ways of making tables! :)
Oh, never even thought about it being different with different browser O.O

Aw man! I actually completed Think To Die August 31st just before the challenge started haha.
So decided to beat Think To Die 2. Unfortunately I was having issues with the game randomly crashing / achievements not loading until restart…and then more crashing preventing me from getting some of the simple ones until much later? Definitely more frustrating than it needed to be, not sure what was wrong. :/ That said I beat the game! Skipping a few levels and then returned to them afterwards.
Games that crash suck sooooooooo much! Monkey Island did that just now to me. I think I have to hit Guybrush a bit to make up for it :]
Oh no! :( Thankfully with my game there were level selects so continue on easily enough, mostly just messed with achievements (and wasted some time). I hope you managed to get a check point and not lose too much of your progress!
p.s. I finished episode 1 of Life is Strange and am really getting into it atm! Really happy you challenged me it. :)

Yeah, it worked out today. Don’t even now why it stuck yesterday. Went real smooth today at the same point. And the game luckily made an autosafe, so I didn’t have to replay that much :D

Queen’s Quest 2: Stories of Forgotten Past
Holy moly I am so DUMB. Wow sorry for the comments previously. I was really confused on how some of the games on the list were on there, thinking they had to be assassin-y games in a series. I even reread the challenge post 5+ times over the month, trying to understand it idk how I missed it. ;_; Figured they all killed something and was just being lenient. I’ve been really loopy on meds can I pls blame that. That made this challenge waaaay harder than it needed to be. Facepalm.
What? Wait! You where caught by the pun (intended)? Like you tried to only do serial killing on not only killing games out of series? Well, you deserve a special medal for doing it the hard way. But. It’s not that difficult ;)

Knights of Pen & Paper finished (Where the Journey Begins achievement)
This just made me sure never, EVER buy a single game from the series. Free to play turned to buy to play, grindy, repetitive, boring, slow, flavour text and references can’t counterbalance the absolute snorefest of a gameplay.

Ended up finishing INSIDE and Nidhogg, both completing part of my ABC Challenge. I’m happy with 5 games beaten towards this month’s challenge. :D
I absolutely adored INSIDE. I’ve played several platformers lately that were more frustrating than not or had super bland, stereotypical puzzles. This one reminded me why I love puzzle platformers so much. It had such fluid controls and wonderful puzzles, not too difficult but still made you think. The game overall felt really slick and was so atmospheric, gorgeous, clever…cannot recommend enough.
Not a whole lot to say about Nidhogg, it was really straightforward with simple gameplay. Still fun, especially if you have a friend to play with.

There is the new game, an episodic game (5 episodes and 1 epilogue) based on the old games King’s Quest™ Collection. The collection are in fact 7 different games, King’s Quest I - VII released between 1983 and 1994. Back then as separate games, now packed into one steam app.
Well, I - VII sure sounds like a series to me. As does the word “Collection”. So, yes. It counts ^^

Well, I was thinking of Bertram Fiddle’s first episode (ep 2 is going to be a separate game/title AFAIK) and I really should replay The Uncertain ep 1 to 100%. I’m playing Minecraft Story Mode season 1 now, but I guess that’s a clearer case since ‘season’ denotes a series… ;) ( The Last Door season 2 could be a candidate as well.)
