Gods Will Be Watching is a seriously awesome game, though it’s quite hard on intended difficulty. When i started up the first level my reaction was pretty much “wtf, is that a game i’ve heard so much good stuff about?”, but then over the rest of the levels i simply loved the game (except for level 4 and DLC one, they’re quite tedious to replay). It has some neat style to it (even though i don’t like pixelated graphics), great story and every level puzzle is unique and fun (except for level 4, i hated it). Grab and play it if you’re into puzzles with a great story behind and even if not - there are easier modes that will let you enjoy the game (but not achievements).

Darksiders Warmastered Edition is a pretty good hacky-slashy game to relax, even on apocalyptic difficulty. Nice story and visuals, fun gameplay. Even finding all collectibles wasn’t hard and didn’t require some kind of walkthrough (except for a couple of pieces i didn’t even imagine could be hidden THERE). One negative thing was the grind to buy all the upgrades, it wasn’t fun. All in all a solid hack’n’slash to have a good time.

Shelter is a small game that teaches you how hard it is to be a mother… a badger mother. In just an hour you will explore a whole world of horrors that can happen to your little cubs. As there is only about 1.5 hours of main “story” i think the price tag is a bit high, but on a nice discount it should be a fun investment. Also bizarre menu design.

STASIS, i was pretty hyped up when i won it and… it was good, not as good as i imagined, but still a very good horrory point’n’click game. Visuals, atmosphere, story - all was great, but at times it became somewhat boring as nothing really happened until you make it happen and with a couple of puzzles the happenings had to wait for quite a bit. The suicide achievement feels forced for some shock factor, even though the protagonist had reasons and mindset to do that, not in the very beginning of the game though. I didn’t quite like how it ended and that some parts in the story weren’t used to their full potential. There are not many horror games that have the quality of this one, i recommend it to the horror fans.

CAYNE is a free to play continuation to the story presented in STASIS, not that of the main protagonist but it kind of reveals some of the consequences. I don’t think you should play it before the STASIS even though there are not many spoilers if any, it just makes a lot more sense after the first game. A couple of puzzles were very unintuitive and wasted a lot of time…

I’d love to see more games from these developers, even though their next game seems to have nothing to do with the STASIS world it still looks awesome.

It’s interesting to see what you’d written about GWBW. I’ve tried it several times and found the first level just tedious and too difficult for a level to just get you into a game. Maybe I’ll try again and try and persevere ..

Evolve

Trust me, it’s the easiest one, but the rest of them are more interesting from story and puzzle perspectives (except level 4, hnng).
You can try the original light, it’s WAY easier, especially after the original. Or you can try even easier difficulties to get into the game and then up the difficulty to get the achievements, you’ll have to replay the levels for that anyway.
