Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Reach is done and dusted. You know, I don’t remember Reach being so short when I played it on my 360, but I wrapped up Reach’s campaign in about 6 hours. It was as fun as I remember it being in the past. Only real negative was the frequent audio bugs that made it sound like my speaker was blown. Beyond that though, it was still a very fun game that holds up quite well today. I’ll probably roll through the Halo 1 campaign next, and then wait for Halo 2 to be released in the package.

I also have been playing:

Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, which is still pretty remarkable even ten years later. Outside of the kind of boring corridor shooter layout (despite there typically being several ways to complete a section), it holds up immaculately and is a pretty fun game. That said, it hasn’t wanted to open over the last couple days. Not sure what’s up with that. I’m probably about half way through though.

Remnant: From the Ashes, which is Dark Souls with more emphasis on guns, level design more similar to Code Vein, and some tight gameplay. I can’t say I’m wowed by it, but it’s one of the better 3D Soulsborne games I’ve played recently. That said, I don’t know that I’m really feeling it right now. We’ll see. I think I’ll try co-op out and see how that goes.
