November report

Hello Assassins!

Shortest summary so far but Pillars of Eternity, Witcher 3 and Real Life consume so much time…

Beaten

  • The Wolf Among Us

    10 hours playtime

    35 of 35 achievements

  • Pillars of Eternity

    66 hours playtime

    24 of 48 achievements

The Wolf Among Us*: gameplay is pretty much the same as other telltale games but the murder story in fable setting is definitely unique. Great game, glad to see sequel coming up.
Pillars of Eternity*: in the beginning Pillars of Eternity is pretty slow, for me it was on a brink of being boring, but there was something that kept me going. And I'm glad I didn't give up as after ~20 hours I was completely sucked by the PoE world. Good story, interesting characters, nice graphics and awesome music. IMHO it is worth your time but the game is definitely not for everyone, it requires some patience, especially in the beginning.

The Wolf Among Us was my very first Telltale Game, and it set the bar awfully high for its other games to live up to (although I’ve since played The Walking Dead, and enjoyed that quite a bit, too!) :)

I have played only few telltale games but his one was probably the best. Tales from the Borderlands is also really good if you are familiar with the franchise.

It didn’t get past the “boring” point for me so I dropped it after a few hours :v

That’s a shame, but I can understand that. Fortunately I had enough of patience to get through the very slow beginning, but the fact it was an SG win was additional motivation ;-)
