weissnichts vom Leben

Some notes on Q3 2026:

In Q3, I finished 15 games and 4 of them.
3 of them, One Finger Death Punch, Back to Bed, and Dwelvers are games I had started but never finished many years ago so I’m happy to finally get back to them. This was once again encouraged by PAGYWOSG, which is still a lot of fun.

I'm sure you've heard of this before but boy can you hear weird stuff in this game.
It is a rhythm game but one you don't have to take super seriously to enjoy. Half the fun is hearing the silly noises you make when you play the song wrong.
Bonus points for the surreal humour.

This one is a lot of fun with friends!
Like the title states, it's a game where you tear a lot of things down, which is obviously a lot of fun.
But the core of the game, or at least of the campaign, is a heist game in which you have to make the perfect plan before executing it in a limited time.

Settlement Survival

I feel quite conflicted about that one.
It's a cozy city building game which makes this quite enjoyable to me.
But some mechanics seem super unbalanced, and progress can be incredibly slow at the beginning.
Some changes could make this a lot better (and the workshop might help you with that) but I'm not sure if I would recommend it…

ONE PIECE World Seeker

This one is another letdown.
While the movement mechanics are great and the combat is decent, everything else falls flat.
The story is mostly boring and the quest design as bland as it gets.
Additionally, most character interactions are just not interesting which makes the whole thing even worse.
I do not recommend this one

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

But let's end this one a positive note. Infinite wealth is amazing!
I've played yakuza 0 before but stopped playing it after a few hours as I couldn't get into it.
I feared that something similar might happen with this one and the first few hours were indeed a bit of a drag.
But after that, the whole games comes together: Lovable characters, silly narratives and an interesting world invite you to spend a lot of time in this game.
Definitely one of the best games I've played this year
