Alright. September is done and dusted. I didn’t have a ton of time for gaming as predicted, so this was a very light month for completions. Basically just finished Beyond Galaxyland and put some time into Cyberpunk 2077 finally. I probably could have finished 2077 as well, but I want to complete Jane’s side quests, and probably Johnny’s as well. And I can’t quite decide when I want to start Phantom Liberty either. Although I did get into a lengthy gunfight at the Dogtown entrance, which was fun.
September Completion
Beyond Galaxyland
14.4 hours, 18 of 31 achievements
Fun mostly JRPG that fuses a few different genres together and manages to be quirky and cool despite having an inherently dark overarching story. Worth a look.
Currently playing into October
It's awesomeness in a pretty substantial package. But you already know that, lol.
Whatever launch issues plagued this game are long since sorted out. Outside of FPS running up into the 600s one day I played, I've encountered zero issues.
September Retirements
- Pinball Squire - Actually fun mashup of pinball and Metroidvania? But way too reliant on luck to progress through certain rooms.
- Cybarian: The Time Travelling Warrior - Shit controls guaranteed that I really wouldn’t give this much of my time at all. It was free, so no great loss here.
Plans for October
Definitely wrap up Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty. Red Dead Redemption will be the next game I play after that. And I’m going to try to find time for Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition and maybe Lies of P as well. Additionally, will be playing some co-op The Planet Crafter with the Planet Humble DLC, and maybe will also actually wrap up Serious Sam 4 co-op as well. Modest plans. :)
