Assassin’s Creed II is done and dusted. I played this on the 360 long ago, but I didn’t really remember the whole game, so I thought I’d revisit it. I can say that unintentional parkour and the occasional stiff controls are still a thing of course, and there are some audio glitches from time to time, but the story is great and the game itself holds up quite well to today’s standards. This run weighed in at about 27 hours with most optional stuff that was story related complete, including the “Truth” of course, which I always found funny considering how religious a lot of people are. Always curious how believers take that aspect of the story lol.

I’m about 5 hours into Fallen Order right now, so I think I’ll wrap that one up next. I’ll also jump into Brotherhood since I never did get around to playing that previously, see how Ezio’s tale unfolds.

Undecided about Crysis 2. On one hand, I’m already 7ish hours in and can probably literally run through most of the rest of the game in a couple hours, but I can’t decide if I want to or not. The game holds up immaculately, but that corridor shooter design (even with the occasional branching layout) wears me out a little. That said, you can literally just run by the enemies on a lot of levels, ignoring them and getting to the next section without even firing your gun or trying to stealth lol. That is an oversight you rarely find in games (or that I rarely find in games anyway).
