“Cleaning mission” 6th report:

January is ending so it’s time to look what i achieved this month, and the answer is not as much i wanted.

  • HunieCam Studio

    12 hours playtime

    16 of 16 achievements

In this game you have to managed cam girls to obtain much fans as possible in 21 days. A run is very short, between 1 hour and half and 2 hours, and there is not a lot of value to play it again except to have a better score (so i don’t recommend to buy it for it’s full value). I enjoyed it even it’s not a great game. Oh, and don’t wait any NSWF pictures in this game except loading pictures at the beginning of the game.

  • Cook, Serve, Delicious!

    10 hours playtime

    11 of 52 achievements

(SG Win / Challenge me! / ABC Challenge): It’s a very good surprise, i didn’t wait a lot of this game but it’s very challenging and it’s a perfect game when you want to play but you only have 10, 20 minutes free. I will give a more detailled opinion about it in the next report.

In the next weeks i will try to finish Cook, Serve, Delicious! and to complete some games which are part of my monthly “Challenge me!”, probably Abzu and Brother tales of two sons.

“Cleaning mission” 5th report:
I will stop to make plans about what i am going to play during following weeks because i never respect them for different reasons. It doesn’t stop me to progress in my backlog anyway :-)

  • Borderlands
    Borderlands

    43 hours playtime

    44 of 80 achievements

I completed the dlc “The secret armory of General Knoxx”, it took me 9 hours to finished it (secondary quests included). I didn’t enjoyed it so much because i am not a huge fan of vehicle phases, and there are very present in this dlc, but borderlands’ universe is still very funny.

  • BlazeRush
    BlazeRush

    4 hours playtime

    12 of 21 achievements

(SG Win): A nice local co-op game, unfortunately there is a bug with some graphic cards, as mine, which harm the experience. I will have to borrow a laptop to a friend or a member of my family to complete it.

  • Please, Don’t Touch Anything
    Please, Don’t Touch Anything

    2 hours playtime

    13 of 15 achievements

(SG Win): The concept of the game is very interesting and some endings are very spectacular. However, some endings are too difficult to obtain, and some puzzles are too complex to understand and to resolve, some extra clues would have been very much appreciated.

  • Swordbreaker The Game
    Swordbreaker The Game

    5 hours playtime

    67 of 67 achievements

(SG Win): A game based on “choose your own adventure books” principle with a beautiful art designs. Your behavior in the castle have an impact on the ending (3 different endings are possible). The major problem of the game is the story which is not very developped.

  • Adam Wolfe
    Adam Wolfe

    6 hours playtime

    27 of 27 achievements

(SG Win / Monthly theme): It’s the first HOG game that i completed and i liked it. It is most an hybrid between a HOG game and an adventure game than a pure HOG game, but it’s a good way to discover this type of game. The story is very intersting (excepting the ending which is only here to keep a door open for a sequel), and the gameplay is quite dynamic during action scenes.

  • Crystals of Time
    Crystals of Time

    3 hours playtime

    no achievements

(SG Win / Monthly theme): After Adam Wolfe i wanted to try an another HOG game, and the only one in my steam account is Crystals of Time, a old SG win. I was a bit disapointing by it: the story is not very developped, you have to come back to the same place to many times, it’s difficult to know where to go without using the crystal. However i found this type of gameplay very pleasant, it combines very well with a good podcast.

  • Puzzles At Mystery Manor
    Puzzles At Mystery Manor

    5 hours playtime

    no achievements

(SG Win): There is 40 jigsaw in this game, unfortunately they are not very diversified. All puzzles contain a skull and different elements in the background. I met a save problem which tarnished the experience, when i restarted the game i have to complete again some puzzles which i already did.

To conclude, i want to thanks ninglor03 for this month’s theme, before i thought HOG games was boring and destinated to people who are older than I am, but now i understand people interest for this type of game. I want to discover more HOG games and i need your advice to avoid generic or mediocre games, thanks in advance for your assistance ;-)

“Cleaning mission” 4th report:
Last 2 weeks I didn’t get to spend as much time to play video games as previous weeks, but i managed to finish several games.

  • Invisible, Inc.
    Invisible, Inc.

    12 hours playtime

    7 of 23 achievements

(SG Win): I did it, i finished the campagnain on the easiest difficulty, but it was not so easy … In this game you really have to avoid fights, characters don’t have any chance agaisnt several ennemies. It was difficult to me to change my way to play in something more safe, it’s why i need 10 hours to complete my 1st run, but you can easily do it in 4,5 hours. I was a little dissapointed by the last level which was the easiest of the game, but they are “randomly” created so i was maybe lucky. I have planned to finish it in a hardest difficulty in following weeks.

  • One Last Chance
    One Last Chance

    2 hours playtime

    7 of 7 achievements

(SG Win): It’s a short romance VN, 30 to 40 minutes to complete the first run. It was not spectular but i enjoyed it. The main defect is the lack of impact of selected responses, dialogues are nearly the same in the different paths and there is only significant differences during endings and epilogues.

  • The Walking Dead: Season Two
    The Walking Dead: Season Two

    13 hours playtime

    40 of 40 achievements

Despite your choices didn’t have any real impacts on the story, except endings (5 or 6 branches), it was an amazing, and sad, journey. If you played the first season, played the second, it is on the same level, if you didn’t played the first it worth it. With sales summer in some weeks i think i will not resit and buy the next one.

  • Lilly Looking Through
    Lilly Looking Through

    2 hours playtime

    no achievements

(SG Win): A short point and click which has a very beautiful artistic direction. Puzzles are sometimes difficult to understand but i liked the two words mechanism. I don’t know if a sequel is planned, or was, but the end of the game is very abrupt. Too sad, it affects in a bad way my opinion of the game.

  • The Forest of Doom
    The Forest of Doom

    4 hours playtime

    21 of 31 achievements

(SG Win): I haven’t played to a “choose your own adventure books” since some years, and it was a pleasure to discover a new one. There is lot of magical creatures and things to discover in this forest. Unfortunately the scenario is pretty basic, i think you can found better in the same style.

For the following weeks i managed to finish Invisible Inc for a second time, to play Alan Wake and a recent SG Win Blazerush.
See you in two weeks.

“Cleaning mission” 4th report:

  • ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 3
    ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 3

    50 hours playtime

    35 of 40 achievements

(SG Win): I made it, after 50 hours i finished story mode and islands mode ! It was awesome, really. It has been a long time i never played a such addictive game. I passed several afternoons to destroy huge armies, while i was listening funny french podcats (if some french people are interested i could detailled in commentary), without noticing time pass. Redundant gameplay were counterbalanced by a exhilarating feeling to defeat huge enemies waves. I have to admit, during last 10 hours i was a little bit jaded, but i keep a very positive opinion about the game. If you liked beat’ em up and/or One piece you should give it a try.

  • Millie
    Millie

    81 minutes playtime

    2 of 14 achievements

(SG Win): A casual game, nothing exceptionnal. I will give a more detailled opinion if found time and strenght to continue it.

  • Invisible, Inc.
    Invisible, Inc.

    6 hours playtime

    4 of 23 achievements

(SG Win): A bit too hard for a rookie strategist but i I would like to finish the, short, campaign at least once.

  • The Walking Dead: Season Two
    The Walking Dead: Season Two

    8 hours playtime

    16 of 40 achievements

And finally, i restarted the second Walking Dead’s season. I stopped my first run because i was waiting the frend traduction for the last 3 episodes, it is more pleasant to play a game like this one in my native language. Nearly 2 years after, i decided to finish it and i found time to play episodes 1 and 2. I already finished these ones in the past so i have nothing to say and i think it will easier to give a opinion at the end of the season.

“Cleaning mission” 3rd report (with April 2017 Monthly Challenge):

  • SUPERHOT
    SUPERHOT

    5 hours playtime

    14 of 26 achievements

My 3rd and last game of the April 2017 Monthly Challenge. I didn’t have expectations and it was a good surprise, and a FPS-Puzzle game is not very common. Unfortunately, Superhot is very short, only 4 hours to complete, and the story is not very developped.

  • - Arcane Raise -
    - Arcane Raise -

    4 hours playtime

    37 of 37 achievements

It’s not a game, it’s a fucking RPG Maker demo. There is no story, you just have to farm monsters and kill the boss. Developper create a sequel and a prequel to his game, on which story !!! It’s will be without me.

  • ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 3
    ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 3

    28 hours playtime

    26 of 40 achievements

I mainly play this game last weeks, it’s very repetitive but i liked it. I will give a more detailed opinion in my next report.

End of the report

“Cleaning mission” 2nd report (with April 2017 Monthly Challenge):

Last weeks was difficult concerning gaming, i mostly played games which was between average and horrible.

  • Braveland
    Braveland

    9 hours playtime

    21 of 21 achievements

A strategy casual game which was average. Story is nearly cliché, not a lot of difficulty and there is only 2 songs. Can be good pick if you wanted to play 20 minute sessions at a strategy game.

  • Three Dead Zed
    Three Dead Zed

    7 hours playtime

    6 of 14 achievements

Oh my god, this game is horrible. Controls suck, really, and some moments are very difficult because your character has a really bad handling. It was a torture, don’t touch this game, there is many better platform games.

  • Zombie Ballz
    Zombie Ballz

    4 hours playtime

    24 of 26 achievements

It is a part of my April Challenge and it is a casual/ puzzle game, i don’t appreciate it a lot. Nothing extraordinary, nothing horrible, but i’m not the target audience so it’s difficult to judge. I could complete the game if i spend 1 or 2 hours more to play it, but not now, maybe in some weeks.

  • Doctor Who: The Adventure Games
    Doctor Who: The Adventure Games

    10 hours playtime

    30 of 30 achievements

Also a part of my April Challenge. It was not a good game (very basic gameplay, my eyes bleed at some moments specially Rory model), but it was not horrible: last adventure scenario was pretty intersting, and it’s was a pleasure to discover new Doctor’s adventures. I spent 1$ for the game it worth it, 5$ maybe not.
Now, i’m ready to watch season premiere tonight.

  • Beat Hazard
    Beat Hazard

    2 hours playtime

    16 of 63 achievements

  • Tricky Towers
    Tricky Towers

    4 hours playtime

    5 of 29 achievements

I also began to play these 2 games and it was a real pleasure after a Zombie Ballz or Three Dead Zed session.

End of the report

“Cleaning mission” 1st report:

I did a come back on steamgifts after 2 years away of the site. I changed a lot of things in my use of the site: i don’t leech anynmore, enter only in game i’m interested to play, be more active in groups … Be an active and honest member to resume.

But i have an other mission, harder this one, (find the time to) play games won on steamgift (new ones and thoses of my older life on the site).
So recently i found time to finished 2 games:

Steamworld heist (SG win):
I really loved this one. It’s turn by turn strategic game, a little like X-com: ennemy unknown, but with a 2D view. The story is not very good, but the gameplay is nice. I finished the game in 15 hours, but i absolutely wanted all the stars so maybe you coulf finished the game in 10 hours if you rushed it. I really recommend it if you like this kind of game.

One finger death punch (SG win):
It’s a sort of rythm game where you only use the mouse, you have to clik to kill your ennemies. It’s very basic but it was fun. They try to add some diversity with some special levels, with special weapons, like lightsabers, or level in black and white. It’s a little hard to finished it because it’s very repetitive, my last hour was very long. But the positive aspect with this type of gameplay is you can easily play 5 minutes or 30 minutes and enjoy your moment, you will not be frustrated by short sessions.
If you are interested buy it, it’s not very expensive and enjoyable.

Next one on the lists are Braveland and Beat Hazard. I will only play little games for my next report because normally i will not have a lot of time for me in the next weeks.

A long mission is waiting me and it’s only the beginning of this adventure.

End of the report

PS: If a gentleman could take some seconds to explain me how add the picture of the game with the playtime and statut or a link to an explanation, it’s will be appreciated ;-)
