This is it, guys. I am slowly becoming a weeb and an achievement whore… T_T

Beach Bounce

Well, that was… a raunchy VN (especially if you choose to play an uncensored version). A lot of action ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I’ll leave it at that. Story, characters and writing itself were decent.

Gone Home

I won it on SG a few months back and I’ve seen several people played it recently because it is in current month’s theme so I decided to play it too. I enjoy walking simulators and this kind of “relaxing” games. I think the story was sweet. Voice acting and music were very good. I get why not everyone may like this game but I personally loved it. If anyone knows any games that are similar to this one please share :3

Road Madness

Garbage but it took less than 30 minutes to get all the achievements. So… yeah…

Hexcells Infinite

One of the best puzzles on Steam. I finished all 3 games and finally got the last achievement in Infinite. I will still play it occasionally. This game is super relaxing.

Fine Sweeper

That may sound funny but I love Minesweeper. I spent hundreds of hours playing it and similar games back in the days when I had a shitty computer with just a few games that my pc could handle. Fun times. Steam version is pretty cool too but I got all the achievements so it’s time to move on.

Submerged

A beautiful little gem. Gameplay can be described as “boat riding + wall climbing”. Nothing revolutionary here but I liked this game a lot. Very short but it ends before it gets too repetitive.

Shax

I reached really far in Fine sweeper but there was this update that made me lose ALL of my progress so I don’t want to play it anymore

dk

Oh that’s unfortunate :( To be fair it doesn’t take that long to get most of the achievements (maybe a couple of hours). The last two (“Step on 5000 bombs” and “Flag 50,000 bombs”) were a pain.

Shax

I’m not an achievement hunter, but I don’t like my progress being lost. I might start it again way in the future

nellyneko

those last two … I haven’t played it in a while, I think mainly because those seem so far out of reach (used to love Minesweeper too when there wasn’t much else, but now I have Steam :3)

I found a cheesy way of getting those achievements faster. Still took me a while but definitely saved a lot of time comparing to just playing the game over and over. Create a custom game with max amount of bombs (785 or something) and just keep clicking aimlessly. The game actually lets you win (I don’t know how else to explain it) every 15-20 tries and when you clear the board it automatically flags remaining bombs (~780 or so). Plus since you are going to keep stepping on bombs 7-8 at a time you will eventually get “Step on 5000 bombs”.
With that said you should probably spend your time on something more entertaining :P

nellyneko

Thanks for the tip, I think I’ll actually just do it now while I’m working - instead of checking on Clicker Heroes all the time, I’ll just start a custom game every now and then :P

Ghostie

You say achievement whore like it’s a bad thing.

dk

No, it isn’t as long as you still enjoy the game while hunting down those achievements :D

Ghostie

Some games are only enjoyable hunting achievements. :)
