Starts off kinda slow, but as you do sidequests you'll quickly progress from barely being able to shoot a single fireball at a time to using all your mana in a single spell and filling most of the screen with exploding fireballs.

Yeah, for the most part. My biggest gripe is that it seems like enemies backpedal too often. That and my character would often sweep instead of thrust when using a spear.
