Remake of super old game ^^ Simple and short but challenging, both have great music.
Just touch enemies off center to hurt them, no need to press any button.
First game is more harder by battle X_X The last boss is nightmare (2nd screenshot)
Second game is longer, all place feels like maze, have more items, and puzzle solving.

Good job! Remember playing through both of these a year ago or so. Knowing myself, I probably did it on the easiest difficulty though :)

I’m on normal, feeling like hard XD
Come on, Dark Fact is not that terrible as a boss. ^^ At least the fight is decide in less than a minute …. although you have to rewatch the cut scene every time again. Well if you don’t play on actual nightmare difficulty he is very doable.
If you are interested in the story you should really play Ys Origin (if you haven’t done so far). It is a great game and serves as prequel.
Yeah… It’s about who’s fallen first X_X I have hard time because disappearing tiles @_@
