Finished:
Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The London Case - knew it was not a good game, but wow
Amphora - nice visuals, awkward gameplay
Assemble with Care - tiny and simple
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars - nice setting, rough around the edges
Astrologaster - odd little narrative
ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree - evocative
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden - nice side stories, lots of busywork
Cat Quest III - more streamlined than I remember the series
Cavern of Dreams - fantastic platformer
Dahlia View - didn’t quite click for me
Death’s Door - solid, interesting colour palettes
Desta: The Memories Between - not my cup of tea
Detroit: Become Human - quite enjoyed it
Duck Detective: The Secret Salami - adorable
Eastern Exorcist - a pleasant surprise - easy to play, two short-ish self-contained stories, simple and fun
Gestalt: Steam and Cinder - could use a proper ending
Gravity Circuit - endearing characters
Hollow Knight: Silksong - the captivating soul of the original is still there, under the to me needlessly punishing gameplay and odd thematic/details design resemblance to Blasphemous 2 that I could not shake :/ I modded it and enjoyed myself. Vanilla… I would just have hated it back.
Jet Kave Adventure - solid little 3d platformer
Kindaichi Mystery Series: The Honjin Murders - pretty faithful to the novel
Lil Gator Game - heartwarming
Lost Eidolons - this really worked for me, in a flawed-yet-worth-it way - the lore is pretty snazzy and detailed, companions are fun; even with the cringe moments and battle after battle all being kind-of-alike, it’s joyful in what it does
Monster Prom - not my cup of tea
Murders on the Yangtze River - solid mystery game
No Case Should Remain Unsolved - interesting concept
Onde - small circ-former?
Over the Alps - Had fun with the first case, second felt awfully railroaded
Pairs & Perils - a guilty pleasure
Pilo and the Holobook - lovely visuals, simple gameplay, children-friendly
Pinball Spire - short pinball with sprinkles
Planet of Lana - liked Mui, neutral otherwise
Rot Gut - tiny run-n-gun
Songbird Symphony - couldn’t quite get used to it, everything felt a little off
Star Trek: Resurgence - pretty solid Trekkie game, under the plastic looks, wish there was a bit more branching/player agency near the end, but that’s just me
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - got it for the familiar faces; the planets are larger but there’s less focus on the core narrative
Suhoshin - visual novel, not quite a detective one
Tales of Graces f Remastered - Tales ^_^ Loved the QoL features in this version
Teacup - lovely, artistic and whimsical
The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante - worth it for the setting alone
The Thaumaturge - great concept but the execution lags behind
Vampire the Masquerade: Reckoning of New York - played to complete the set; not really my thing but Paddy’s writing was rather nice
Vampire Therapist - does it count as therapy?
Voodoo Detective - small point-n-click
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood - far from perfect but rather fun to play
