I’ve taken a little bit of time to update my completed section starting from the year 2000 up to 2023. It took some work, but it was worth it. What cool stuff do you like to do with your lists and does anyone know what’s the limit of lists you can make?

No idea about the limit of lists, but as far as customization goes, I tried coloring my yearly lists with a pink gradient. It’s kind of a pain in the butt when it’s been a while though, as there’s no comfortable way to keep track of what the code for the last color was ^^;; Besides yearly lists, I’ve seen some people group games into months (been thinking of doing that myself too). Then there’s also lists for where you got the game from (trade/gift etc.), challenge lists (POP, yearly challenges, monthly challenges etc.) and the approximate state of the game (bugged/broken, needs local co-op, needs online co-op, etc.) Basically, feel free to do anything and everything you want, as long as you’re not breaking any rules! :D

Thanks! I thought I’d just add the ones I’ve played long ago in a completed section and I went as far as the year 2000. Although I’ve not got many games then, I was able to add at least 1 in each category except in 2015, which I either don’t own yet the game on Steam or I’ve played too many MMORPG’s back then to have time to play anything else.

Some of my lists, not that there’s anything particularly interesting about them:

  • Attack Plan (0 games): I think this actually used to be a requirement (?) to join BLAEO. I use it for games that fit the monthly theme, plus any games I’m in the process of playing. Right now it’s empty because I haven’t been playing Steam games, except for one on my alt I started a couple of weeks ago.
  • Idled only so far (207 games): I used to idle games after I acquired them. I eventually realized the value of the cards was probably less than the cost of electricity. Plus I didn’t like the inflated play times.
  • Farmable (77 games): Games that still have card drops remaining.
  • Steam Sales (not completed) (39 games): It seems like every July there’s a Steam Sales monthly theme, where you’re supposed to play games you bought during a Steam Sale. I created this list so I didn’t need to look through past sales every year.
  • Completionist Downers (9 games): Games that I have less than 75% completion.
  • Steam Limited (24 23 games): As the name implies, “Profile Features Limited” games. Doesn’t affect completion, for better or worse. Must be checked manually as far as I know. One game on the list is no longer limited.
  • Achievements added after I played (11 games): Self-explanatory. I don’t tend to replay games, but there are a couple here I would consider.
  • Gifts (16 games): Either outright gifts, or SG-based gift exchanges.
  • Would play elsewhere / other version (33 games): These are games that either have another version (say, a non-VR version) that I would play instead of this one, or I would play them from an alt via Family Sharing because of terrible/impossible/grindy achievements.
  • Have played elsewhere / other version (15 games): More games that have multiple versions in the Steam store (e.g., Ori) where I played one version but not the other. Or I played them on another platform or from an alt via family sharing. Games in the previous list end up here when I’ve played them.

That’s most of them…more than you cared to see, no doubt. :D

Idk how much this will help you, but use a tool like Steam X on Android to do this. You’ll be spending a lot less and can decide which games you want to idle.

Completionist Downers (9 games): Games that I have less than 75% completion.

Do you plan on going for the 100% completion?

Thanks, I hadn’t looked into other card farmers. I knew about ASF but no way would I trust that tool. Ultimately, I don’t trust any tool I guess. :) Or at least, the small gains aren’t worth the small risk.

I don’t think I would seek completion on any of the ones in my Completionist Downers list. I have another list, “Revisit for Achievements” (8 games) containing games for which I might try to get some more achievements. I might revisit Portal and Torchlight.

ASF is fairly safe as long as you’re not farming multiple accounts or something. The chance of getting banned are slim. Still, that’s all up to you! 😉

Oh no, you’re on to me!

Heh, well it seems like a good idea; and now I have a list for that.
