I was on vacation at the end of March/beginning of April, so I skipped a report. So on to the assassinations of the past two months:

Demon’s Tilt: Really cool pinball game, was quite addicted to it and had a great time! One achievement was a bit grindy, requiring quite a few replays after I had already done everything else. Worked fine on steam deck. If you are -like me- a fan of pinball games, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Samorost 2: Cute, short point+click.
Wordle 5: Really, really bad! If you are thinking about getting it: don’t! xD Words are missing letters at the end or have an ‘e’ more, words are repeated in categories or don’t have any relation to the category, I don’t know why they released this mess.
Kitaria Fables: Cute little farm and fighting game where you play a cat :) A bit grindy at times. Works well on steam deck!
The Last Campfire: Really liked this relaxing, cute puzzling game. Liked the puzzles (engaging but not frustrating), design and atmosphere! Works well on steam deck!
Serial Cleaner: Even though stealth is not my favourite genre of all time, I really liked this one! The 70ies atmosphere was nicely executed and the levels were short, and fun to challenging. Works well on steam deck!
The Almost Gone: Was not my cup of tea, puzzles were so easy they were bordering on boring and the story was too vague for my taste. One achievement requires you to stay in the game for 5 hours, another one a replay, which are both pretty senseless and don’t add anything to the game experience, for the 5 hour achievement I just kept it running and watched TV -.-
Down in Bermuda: Cute short puzzle/HOG, I had fun but definitely liked Agent A a lot more. Works on Steam Deck, but I found the controls a bit fidgety.

That’s it from me, hope you all are having a great month!

Congratulations on all of your assassinations! The only game I’ve played out of that bunch was the last campfire, I’m glad everyone seems to like it!

Hmm, I didn’t know (or remember) that they added achievements to Samarost 2. Not sure if it’s worth a replay. The Last Campfire is waiting patiently in my backlog, but it looks nice. I also picked up The Almost Gone at one point…it does seem like that achievement is just there to increase their “average playtime” stat or something. Grr. And I didn’t know that Down in Bermuda was from the same folks as Agent A (which I loved). Maybe it’s worth putting on the wishlist for loyalty reasons if nothing else…though it looks like I’d need a guide for some of those achievements.

Thanks for the write-up!
