Game of the Month
I know this post is about my personal "Game of the Month", but oh boy, this might as well be my Game of the Year!
I honestly don't know where to start with this gem. Everything just feels incredibly well made, and I barely found anything to dislike. Even the few things I did miss, like New Game+, have already been confirmed by the devs. The same goes for the soundtrack which originally was locked inside the game, the devs listened to feedback and made it available separately.
The time management initially worried me quite a bit, but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the game. Having to actually think about where to spend your time and which priorities to pursue felt incredibly refreshing. Every decision carries some weight, and I really enjoyed that feeling.
Visually, this game is an absolute feast for the eyes, and the music is just phenomenal. The atmosphere wouldn't be nearly as strong without it. Even more impressive is how polished the game feels overall — I encountered barely any bugs during my playthrough.
And then there's being a vampire. The difference between playing as a human and embracing your vampiric powers genuinely feels powerful. You really notice how much stronger you are, and it makes the transformation feel meaningful rather than just being another gameplay gimmick.
I also loved how many different ways there are to bring the game to an end. Your choices actually open up different possibilities, which made me want to experiment and see what else could have happened.
I haven't reached 100% completion yet, though. I'm deliberately waiting until the promised New Game+ gets patched in before going back for the rest. And honestly, I'm looking forward to experiencing the game all over again with it.

The illustration comes from this game ? I’m surprised, the characters look really different !
