Yekhus
Progress Report #34: February + March 2026
Monthly tally - Backlog: 58, Yekhus: 0
Total play time: 0h
This report looks abysmal, but it's for 2 months instead of 1. Still, 2 months of virtually no play at all. And the deluge of free games does not stop. I just hope that I've touched bottom, and can end this "phase" in April and get back on the horse for good!

Awoo you’re hard on yourself to even wanna play the Epic and GoG freebies !
Yes, that’s a very good point. Putting ALL the games that I own into THE backlog might be a bit too harsh on myself. Although I don’t actually need to complete them all, I do need to try them out a bit before discarding (which is a valid way of crossing them out of the backlog).
But you made me think, and wonder whether having them all mass into a huge pile of a backlog by default might not be ideal. It could be reinforcing defeating, demoralising feelings of an impossible-to-beat backlog, and not the most conducive to inspire me to assassinating action. So I’m thinking of defining an additional category, that is off-backlog, as default for those games that come in, are unlikely to attract my gaming, but still have not been tried and officially discarded. I’ll give it some thought.
Thank you for sparking my thinking and the inspiration! That’s why I love this community, and it’s the kind of comment that makes sharing these reports so worthwhile!
