Goals for July
June started pretty slow, except for the last 10 days or so lol. I almost forgot how many games I was able to beat/complete in that short amount of time;
-
Infinite Adventures
65 hours playtime
74 of 74 achievements
-
Chasm
30 hours playtime
20 of 20 achievements
-
PictoQuest
15 hours playtime
26 of 26 achievements
-
Alien Shooter
9 hours playtime
17 of 17 achievements
-
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
13 hours playtime
15 of 15 achievements

In the end, Infinite Adventures did not disappoint me at all, and Dungeon Crawler fans should definitely give it a chance. Chasm is a short but good Metroidvania. PictoQuest is just okay, decent Nonogram game. Bloodstained - Curse of the Moon is a wonderful ode to good old Castlevania games, probably the one I liked the most from june’s games. Alien Shooter, on the other hand, I did not like it. Personally I found it boring, unfair and very weak but I still respect the nostalgic sentiments other players hold for this game.
Aside from Umineko which I’m already reading, july’s new games (for now) consists of Langrisser I & II, and ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery). I might go back to La-Mulana for another playthrough so I can get some more achievements. I also dropped and removed Onmyoji from my library, because I realized that I shouldn’t waste my time with free-to-play gacha games, when I already have a library of wonderful paid and won games.
Nice progress! How is Umineko so far? I was thinking about starting the question arcs soon
It is pretty engaging, full of thinking times and unexpected plot twists. Probably one of the best VN’s I’ve ever read, so I would definitely recommend you start Question Arcs as soon as possible 😅
