I’m done with Volume. Not finished, just not enough interest to continue. I gave it time to grow on me until the last card dropped, but no, it’s not for me. Which makes me sad, really sad, because it was one of my most hyped games for a long time, I expected so much. What’s the problem? I guess at the end it’s that it’s just a puzzle game. And I’m not into puzzle games that much. There were rumors of a story, there are even text fragments one can find, and I did read all of them, but it never made sense to me, I just didn’t understand what it’s about.

Giving away NotGTAV.

Downward Concept

I saw a bit of gameplay before it came out. Looks good, but just like you I’m not a big fan of puzzle games. I think in the video I’ve seen they talked about a story that you can piece together by finding texts and whatnot, but overall I decided to save the money for something I’m 100% interested in, rather than 30%. :P

I loved Thomas Was Alone, and have been following the development of Volume since I discovered it. Really really happy to have gotten in Humble Monthly. Sucks that a game you wanted so much turned out to be not your cup of tea. :/ I do like puzzle games though, so hopefully I do enjoy it when I get around to playing it (:

From the screenshots and video gameplay it looks similar to Monaco but at the same time less interesting. :(

Is Monaco good? It’s in my library for a while now.

I love Monaco! High difficulty though. :D

Monaco is another one I bought for the looks. Didn’t stick around long enough to really understand what it’s about. Maybe if a friend walks me through the game play first so I get what it’s all about :)
