It is good game and has some stuff prepared in menu where I pick up mission. Now you have just two versions - peaceful where you build village and one with war. I liked more village map as I like building, but one with war.. I don’t know what I need to do, cause enemy has unlimited money for merc and my “army” are just villagers for which I forge basic weapons. And I can’t even buy land, cause it requires a lot resources these I can get only from taxes. So when I was almost at half needed for first land, opponent already bought last empty piece of land. That was at easy.
Another interesting mechanism of lands is they work like separated countries, each have own resources. I don’t even remember now if I could trade, cause resources are most difficult to get in game. You have to pick up one land and each have just one unlimited, other you can deplete or they run out fast. Most important to me was to pick one with unlimited food, before I get gardens set. Also more you upgrade town, people are spoiled and they want more types of food. I tried my best to get achievement to complete all requests of people to 100%, but best I got was 80%, cause they always miss something - beer, meat or clothes… and since something will always be based on import, its seriously difficult to time out, because you won’t have full storages of everything at same time.
