Writing my review for Sam & Max season 1 here because the series is delisted on Steam and I can’t write review on them anymore.

An old Steamgifts win I almost forgot about, fortunately I checked back and played it. Very fun classic point and click adventure game based on, from what I can search up on, a cartoon show/comic. It feels like playing a classic American cartoon with comedic violence, quirky and colorful characters, with story and jokes that will probably offende a lot of people these days. I don’t mean to act like an old woman going “the good old days” but it does remind me of watching those whacky American shows as a kid. And yet some theme are strangely relevant today, like the internet being used for nefarious purposes and the jokes about America politic (though I’m an Asian looking from the outside so my perspective may be different from actual American). It’s an old game so it has pretty outdated graphic and lack some QoL but it adds to the charm. The soundtrack is awesome with each episode having a theme song, really catchy songs too. In general great fun for fan of classic point and click.
