My Statistics 😔
This is the best RPG of this style I’ve played (although honestly, I haven’t tried many, but this one is really good). In short, you could say it’s like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, but even more indie.
The story isn’t anything extraordinary, but the gameplay is definitely the best part: when attacking with weapons or spells, you have different ways to interact to deal double damage. Also, when defending against enemy attacks, you can even completely mitigate the damage. This makes the battles much more engaging, and not just about choosing an attack and waiting for the turn to end.
I also liked that the collectibles aren’t just for show: the chests give you consumables/weapons/armor, and the crystals are used to upgrade your base stats.
The game isn’t that long… I have 42 hours because I played it three times in a row :D
The only real issue I had was that it doesn’t have Steam Cloud.

So... I think it's quite impossible for me to get rid of all my backlog if I continue adding this amounts of games D:
Congratulations on your assassinations!! ᓚᘏᗢ
To defeat the backlog, one must look into themselves… and only buy one less than you complete to get there eventually ahahha.
a pretty good haul, though! Spiritfarer was incredible, GRIS is exceptional, Jusant is an adventure, and Clair Obscur is widely talked about - I don’t know much about the rest of your games, though I’m playing through Winds of Anthos myself - it’s the laziest farming sim I’ve ever interacted with.
Good luck with July!
Thanks for the advice! Although it’s really hard for me not to buy bundles, hahaha. Is ‘the laziest farming sim’ supposed to be a good thing? o.O
Ahaha, no.
One hairstyle, three outfits in total (hot area, cold area, starter outfit), and if you have the misfortune to play as a girl, you get socks with sandals.
The economy is garbage, farming is actually detrimental, since one vegetable can sell for 8 gold, but a random fish in a river is 3,000 gold. (I’m serious.) To top it off, all your side quests are just busy work and you learn to not interact with npc’s because they shove quests on you just for interacting with that character, you can’t cancel, and they are largely, completely unessesary since the “rewards” are usually store goods you can buy for gold or find outside. One memorable example was when Judy asked me to give her an entire sheet of gold (which required getting to mining floors 30-40 and actually finding the thing, then paying another npc to smelt the ores and hammer it into a sheet) for 10 grass seeds.
At no point in the game do you need to grow grass, except if you need it for a quest, and it’s dirt cheap at a store.
Unless the DLC wildly turns this game around, it’s getting a negative review from me.
Woooow, you really took away my desire to play it xD In Light of Hope Special Edition, some of those things happen too (like the economy), but I don’t think it’s as bad as you say. And the worst part is that the game you’re talking about isn’t even the one with the worst reviews :V So I can’t imagine how bad One World must be haha…
