Update 7
I wanted to write up this update earlier in the month, but I also wanted to wait until I’ve beaten Donkey Kong Bananza to have something worthwhile in here. Istg I thought I was done at least 3 times, but the game just kept on going! As is custom, life likes to get in the way of gaming sometimes.
I also have an insatiable desire for that mossy temple vibe, if y’all know of any games with a setting like that (for example like some of the areas in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle), please drop some suggestions :)
Games Beaten:
Very intriguing. And depressing? I'm unsure what to say about this one, but there's no reason not to give it a playthrough if you haven't yet. Can recommend doing it in one sitting.
Genuinely more frustrating than relaxing. The game sometimes puts a bunch of random stuff on screen and expects you to figure it out. The drawers DLC was a bit better, generally the levels where you had to organise things into drawers or cupboards were the best. Loved Unpacking so was searching for something that would scratch that itch, but this one unfortunately disappointed me.
There's SO much to do if you want to. The game is beautiful with very fun level design and quirky characters. Smashing everything doesn't seem to get old. I did experience some frame drops near the end when a lot was happening on screen, but nothing major.
Honestly, this game is worth the Switch 2. It's basically like what Super Mario Odyssey was for the first Switch. It's also made me want to go back and play some older DK games!

Interesting about A little to the left, thanks for review :/
Curious about your experience with Journey, did anyone join you in your playthrough? When I played it a few did and it was pretty magical.
I played through most of it with one person, after they left tho one person joined and left immediately, so I had to finish it alone. It’s nice that there’s still people playing years after its release, I think it made the experience quite unique and a lot better.
