I’m surprised how good this game is, playing now the DLC, Undead Nightmare. I highly recommend it.

I've got 10 games I've got to beat/complete from PlayStation 3 and older, so I've got a nice goal ahead of me.

There are not that many games that excite me anymore, but this one still looks cool! Do I have this right - you installed this game from a physical PS3 disc and played it through an emulator on your PC?

Yes, that’s right. The great thing about it is that you can get a used copy and still be able to emulate it if you do the steps right.

Since I live under a rock, I hadn’t heard of any working PS3 emulators. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have some research to do once I get this big stone off me…

It’s my pleasure. RPCS3 is the best there is from what I’ve been told. Alternatively, if you have PS2 games, you can pick up PCSX2. I’ve personally went with PS3, as some PS1 and PS2 games have been remastered or made for PS3 too, which is great!

In my opinion, anything Green or Orange can be played. I’ve just completed the DLC for Red Dead Redemption 1. I’m left with some things to do to get 100%, but I’m honestly not motivated to do it.

How is that emulation, did you run into many problems? Also can you play it on 60fps?

Some games are capped by default on 30 frames, but with RPCS3 you can uncap some of the games. For some reason, I couldn’t do it anymore on RDR1, but it worked well on the Xenia emulator, which is for Xbox side. Highly recommend both programs, depending on what games you own and what you want to own.
