Mostly completed or played - April 2026

  • I prefered Cupiclaw over Raccoin. As Cupiclaw scenario was just much better, despite having to win 8x to discover the full story
  • Ah finally finished Two Point Museum ! Game is badly grindy for the first 20h (send expeditions on a loop), and then becomes still grindy but better (optimize rooms locations, museum decoration, manage employees formation). It’s a good game but not a masterpiece, and certainly not Theme Hospital level.

April/May theme - Not Without My Cat

  • Love is… has net drawings and a cute cat but was terribly boring.
  • Mostly finished New Heights, finding the cats on all locations. Unfortunately some achievements and roads are bugged and it’s sometimes hard to find the climbing holds.

In progress - plan for next month

  • Occasionally : CoH3 (lol but still intend to slowly finish this one), Swat Commander (on stand-by as it’s an early-access)
  • Memoriapolis releases soon from early-access with a big update
  • A steam friend gifted me Gibbous, i’m not really appealed but it’s his favorite game and fits in the theme.

You always have a cool selection of games played. :)
That climbing game looks pretty interesting to me.

coleypollockfilet

Thanks ! It’s really fun to climb with this latex character, if you use a controller you have one button for every arm/foot. Game has 10 locations that were scanned irl using a drone, 8 with a really interesting level-design, including an old fort and a ruined church. But 2 that are just giant cliffs and were released poorly optimized and with many bugs. I noticed the devs are still working on fixing all of that.

Nice games in there! I’d like to play some of the Cat Quests one day. Played the demos at some point, and wanted to keep going (but had other games on my hands at the time).

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on Gibbous! Played it a few years ago.

coleypollockfilet

Here i would say Cat quest 1 > 2 > 3 (the 3rd being really grindy)
Gibbous… well i didn’t like the horror part and the ending. But there was some cool funny parts too, and the fact that it’s doable almost without a walkthrough is welcome ! Was not bad but i still prefer Broken Sword.

I will confidently start with Cat Quest 1 then.

Re. Gibbous… that fits. I was afraid you wouldn’t like the horror side of it. But I remember it much more as a parody/humour game than horror. So hopefully the funny parts made it worth your while.

Can you believe that I haven’t played Broken Sword?! That’s yet another point and click classic I still have to play! And not the only one…

And I agree, the ending was disappointing.

coleypollockfilet

Yes Gibbous still worthed it despite that but just because this sort of funny pnc is rare.
If you didn’t play yet Broken Sword you’re lucky, i sort of “envy” you about that cause you can still experiment the 1st “omg lol wtf” !

Yekhus

I’m bumping it up to top-prio on my backlog then! I’m looking forward to it.
