Honestly, in terms of a meme game, this one is kinda fun? Enemies come from left and right and the santa up top will shoot projectiles at you, and when the present meter fill up you can pick 1 of 3 upgrades. You can only pick a certain amount of subskill before other different subskills stop showing up so the "build" is kinda picked that way, and it's a "see how many points/waves you can survive" game. I picked wand/gun, laser and meteor which is honestly pretty good, only thing I would probably remove is the laser as I feel it's quite weak. All the skills(especially the meteor) becomes really strong with more of them you pick, to the point that the screen is full of my own projectiles that it's hard to avoid the santa's attacks cuz I can't see them. xD But that is the fun of it I suppose. And surprisingly the music and the sound effects wasn't too grating for me? The only "complaint" I have is that level ups no longer prove substantial after a certain point and all you get is "heal" or one of my auto fire weapon like wand/gun, so that is a bit disappointing~But otherwise, I had a fun time. Not one I'll go back to, but enjoyable for the 25 minutes I spent. :3

I've always had a fascination with electronics, not enough to look into it much or pursue it as a career, but I did disassemble a bunch of small broken gadgets and keep the circuit boards and what not in a box when I was little. :P Though my biggest problem is always that I cannot remember the order in which I need to assemble them back into, and I still have the same problem in this demo. xD But the good thing is, it blocks your input until you've dragged the right object or unscrew/screw the needed screws, so I kinda don't have to remember. That could be a good or bad thing depending on how "realistic" you want the process to be, but for a cozy title I do think doing it like this fits more.

I did play "Assemble with Care" before which is the same kinda "repair shop" premise, but that game was way too short I want more things to repair! And the actual complexity of the things needing to repair is not that much. This game looks to have a much better improvement on both fronts. You get story repairs by fixing the things characters brought you, but you can also take orders online, and buy second hand devices to disassemble for parts. That's already way more replay-ability. :3 The characters so far are kinda just...meh tho, compared to Assemble with Care. I hope they flesh the story out more, currently the dialogues just makes me want to skip skip skip. And the other "bad" thing is there's a lot of clicks. It is kinda expected for a game like this, but it's certainly not great for my already overused wrists. lol Maybe I'll see if I can use my drawing tablet to play or something when the full game comes out, and if that'll help or not. :P I'm definitely looking forward to the release!

Pretty generic arcade game with an online pvp mode which I didn't try cuz there's no one playing. You press left or right depending on the block color, and the progression system is getting points and unlocking characters. Can be fun at first, but having to beat it for the pagywosg even prove to make it overstay its welcome. There is an interesting "trick" I discovered, it's that your eyes should never look at the block you're hitting, but instead I will look ahead for the black blocks and count how many there are, my vision will become sorta looking at the general direction of the later blocks and noting down the amount of them. And if the full bar is of a single color, it's always 5 blocks and then switch. I guess that's pretty interesting that I have a "tech", and when I use it I can often get quite far, but still, it's nothing special, and not bad either. Just an average game.

Desktop idler my beloved. This one does have a nice balance of idle/active, although I'd love if the spells don't cost anything, but instead work on cooldown purely, because the "opimizer" part of me wants to activate all spells at once, which meant I had to actively click until the spells are activated since the auto-spirit doesn't work like that. xD But, if I forego the opimization, it's a pretty cute, pretty chill desktop idler that resize, moves and plays quite well. I could play DbD with it on which is pretty sweet. :3

This is basically 2D Powerwash Simulator with really nice pixelart style. :3 It does have other tools like leaf-blower and a pickaxe apparently? So not exactly the same. And the fact that you're cleaning mold means that it actually slowly grows back/spreads which is super neat! Tho honestly I didn't enjoy it *that* much for some reason? I'm guessing it is because there's not enough "parts" to clean, and so the "ding ding ding" satisfying sound of having cleaned an area doesn't pop up enough(at most it's the toys garage which has like 8 toys to clean). And although the mold growing is neat, it also is a bit annoying. lol

I can't wait to play more of this game and I am sooooo looking forward to the full game of this now! That's a demo done great. :D This is a post office job simulator where you sort, stamp, weigh and send off packages for cats, and it's sooooo fun. I just love organizing the packages, and the fact that it doesn't have strict time limit just makes it so great. It goes online on July 6 which is freaking awesome I'm definitely buying it on launch. :3

Not gonna type the full name of this game cuz it's gonna screw up my layout. lol

If Moldwasher is "I almost like it but not quite", then this game is "I should like it(and I do) but it annoyed me too much". This is a garbage collecting/cleaning and card collecting game that should be totally up my alley, and it is and I had a lot of fun which is why I put 1.2 hours in it when I would've stopped quite a while ago if not. But in this day and age and making this game in this genre, how did the devs not think about putting in toggle click accessibility option? It hurts my wrist having to hold down MB and clicking is not an option either obviously. And why is the collection speed not consistent?? If you move your character while collecting garbage, it actually speeds up quite a lot(almost x2), so that is a "tech" to be more efficient, but doing so makes me sooooo nauseous. Yet when I don't do it and even if I buy the speed upgrade, sometimes the speed just slows down for no reason? I don't understand what is happening. And the throwing garbage mechanic, it is also so inconsistent. If you move forward while throwing, logically you will think that it'll throw further because of momentum, and sometimes it works, but other times it just throws a teeny tiny step for no discernible reason at all. My guess is probably vector calculation error on the speed or something. But adding that all up is just a frustrating experience. I like the art style a lot, and I would like to like the gameplay, but unfortunately this is a no for me.

This game is amazing! I found it first from Wanderbot's channel, the vibe and the art style is just immaculate. and playing it is no less fun than watching it. It combines roguelite with random number generator+poker kind of scoring system. Brilliant I say. The risk taking and the constant barrage of things happening are also pure gambling vibe, this is a gambling game. :P I especially lot the "fear" mechanic with having to spot the eye among the fish scales, that's such a neat gameplay mechanic. Definitely gonna keep an eye on and see where this one comes out, and I highly recommend checking the demo out!

I was actually looking forward to this one a lil cuz it seems like silly fun, and it is in a sense, and I'll probably have to get used to controls just a tad more since I kept driving into walls and getting stuck, but the biggest problem I have is I got very nauseous playing this game. The right stick of changing camera angle is a legit trap because the quick flip of orientation is horrible, I kept accidentally flicking that when I wanted to actually look around and I think that does contribute to me feeling sick afterwards. There's also the fact that the main gameplay loop didn't...grasp me? Drifting and boosting and hitting things/people are satisfying yes, but I find my attention split between the task, getting deliveries, and the constant bombardment of cop cars. I think the cop cars is especially egregious, since it interrupts the flow of things quite often. It is actually hilarious to watch it happen, since I watched Wanderbot play this demo before playing it myself(it actually prompted me to play it today among the other demos I've downloaded) and the cop cars are super funny just knocking his car around, but when it's my car? Kinda annoying. lol I suppose ultimately, I'll have to say this game is just not for me, and that's ok! :3 Check the demo out if you're interested, it might be your cup of tea.

Really interesting game. Technically I wouldn't say it's "fun"? It's like, the purest form of "gambling" in a sense, where you get your hopes up when you score a certain amount of heads especially with the scaling SFX sounds, but then it just might not work out in the end. I think I actually got pretty lucky in my first run, I got an early "x9" at like 45%, which boosted my money up so I bought till 55%, then shortly after I just got an ending, the eggbug one specifically. It took just 21 minutes. :P I also find it very interesting that you can actually see how a person's head streak goes the first time just from their achievement unlock timestamp, assuming they kept flipping and didn't stop ofc. Like for mine, you can see that I got up to x4, and then the next is x9, and then I got the eggbug ending. Pretty neat. :3

It may be tempting to use an autoclicker after a specific point, but honestly I would recommend for your first playthrough to play it manually. It really is very different flipping the coins yourself and getting the heads streak is wayyyy more exciting that way. It's fair games after that tho, not to mention the game actually randomizes the ending you get. xD I'm going to be hunting the 2 endings I have left, one is actually the highest chance of 30% and I still haven't got it! Still debating if I should save scum or not. I did use auto clicker for 3 of the following playthroughs, of which I got 2 new endings which were pretty lucky I'd say, but hunting that 10% might be difficult....I'll think about it. :P

Another fantastic game that I'm going to put on my radar to buy on release. There's a lot of these mundane task simulators popping up lately and I do not mind them at all, if they did it well that is. This one definitely did, and the thing I love the most about it is that there's no music in the game. It is purely just the wind and ambience noise, and cutting grass. Extremely satisfying, chill and also oddly eery whenever you get close to a boss. And yet it's never hostile, it just doesn't welcome you and you won't survive in their environment, if that makes sense? And the bosses never actively "attacked" you, if anything I feel bad for them since the player is just cutting their grass and hitting them with a scythe. lol

I can't help it, I just really like cleaning games. :3 But, I'm also kinda particular about them, and this one does tick my approved box! It has an interesting twist in that you are on limited power for a level actually, and you'll have to level your skill tree in order to go further in a level and actually clear it. I really like that! Changes up the formula and makes the final clean feel extra nice. There's also the fact that cleaning objects/areas give a good chunk of money with that satisfying ding that I love, and the more fun thing is they have a chance to drop powers if you have the skills unlocked. That may be just a battery at the start which doesn't mean much, but a tech I quickly discovered after unlocking the "Turbo when under X% power" is when you have a battery on the field, you should intentionally use your power, enter turbo and keep an eye on the power bar while doing fast cleaning, when it almost reaches the end grab the battery. That allows you to rapidly clean with turbo and you get to use turbo again and again for however many batteries you have on the field. :P That massively speeds up my clears and I really like that there's little strategies like that, and the adrenaline you get when your power is almost running out and you're trying to clean as much as you can is really fantastic. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that to 100% the demo skill tree the sludge requirement is just way higher than the other resource, and since automation is locked in demo I had to sit on the map and just click, wait, click, wait. I guess it's on me to want to 100% it, but still that was a tad annoying. Though that does not detract from the game much, and I'm definitely gonna keep an eye out on this, maybe not immediately grab it on launch, but later in a sale or something. :3

I think this is actually the first time I really participated in Steam Next Fest! I just decided to go through recommended and download a bunch of demos on the whim, and it’s pretty great. :3 Lots of new job sim titles coming out for some reason, or maybe Steam algorithm is doing it to me cuz I do enjoy them. xD

Also another huge thing is I finally bought MGSV! I’m finally going to get to see Huey in-game. :D Very excited, but I need to get to him first. Registered the game in pagywosg to hopefully motivate me to play it more, since I only played that 8 hour single session and have been playing other games and demos.

In particular, Starbound has been my most played game because a Youtuber friend of mine that stopped doing Youtube recently came back. We had a Starbound streaming schedule going on where we played together before, so we’ve picked that back up again and I’ve also been kinda obsessed with it after each play session. lol

There’s still a few demos I have downloaded that I wanna check out(8 to be exact). The hope is next month I’ll check them out, and also play some pagywosg games and meet Huey and play Cat Mail Co. there’s so many things I wanna play! Kinda happy I’m getting back into gaming grooves ehehe. :3 See you next month~
