Game has a charming art style, but the gameplay loop just isn't it, which is too bad considering it's an idle/clicker game so gameplay loop is kinda the important thing. Clicking bubbles isn't fun, opening boxes isn't fun, and most importantly collecting the items isn't fun. It's all just a bit tedious with not much rewarding feeling.
Seeing there's "rainbow items" I initially wanted to archive the rainbow variants that I can get ahold of, but unticking "autosell" is just too tedious, and if I have that ticked most often than not I accidentally sell the rainbow item and curse to myself, and that's a frustrating feeling so I just gave up after a bit. Actual collection also is not good to look at, the items you archive just pile up randomly in a box, and honestly the rainbow variant doesn't look *too* different from normal so it's hard to tell, and you can't check the item's info box in the archive which...what's the point in archiving them then? There's a "display" section which you can put your archived item on there, but still like, what's the point? And most importantly, in the catalogue where you see items you've already collected, there's not even a rainbow variant record anywhere if you *have* collected on...
Thankfully the game is not long, because towards the end I keep having the thought of "why am I playing this" which is quite bad. xD Wouldn't recommend anyone to play this, unless you want to cross this off backlog I suppose.

This game has a very interesting setting: It's using slavic folklore for the story, characters and monsters. It's not often that a game uses that, and the art style, the vibes and the dialogues are done very well. Even the voice acting most of the time are really good. I especially love the rhyming of the dialogues, it's a neat touch and adds to the feeling of the story very well. And the music, damn it didn't need to go as hard. The generic combat music did get a bit old towards the end of the game, but it's still acceptable. As for gameplay, it's ok? Like, it's not amazing that I want to replay the 12 hours I spent again, hence I only got the ending achievements that I can and I'm not gonna go through the game again for the remaining ones, but it's also quite fun when you're just smacking and slamming foes. The only annoyance I have with it is a "bug" or perhaps intended mechanic of when you get full bad luck, you'll randomly lose blessings you've gotten before. The reason why I say it might be bug is because from discussions it's supposed to clear "all" of your blessings/curses, but in reality some of my blessings just...randomly disappear. It wouldn't be a huge deal if it's a random one, but I got a really good QOL blessing that increases my speed a ton, which made traversing the map so much easier, but then I lost it seemingly out of nowhere, and that made me honestly pissed. xD I think the core of the issue is base movement speed being too slow, map being too big/repetitive and boring, so that's why I was salty when I lost that. But still, I had a great time with the game! If you want some cool vibes and don't mind some just okay gameplay, give this a try.

Bit of a lackluster month in terms of backlog killing. I kinda got sucked back into CAI…iykyk. lol Tho I did play a bunch of other games that weren’t contributing to backlog killing.
100% completed Crime Scene Cleaner again including all the true cleaner challenges! Quite proud of that. Played a bit of Earth Atlantis, I really liked the visuals, but ultimately gave up cuz it’s too annoying to have to backtrack all the time without a proper map. Also discontinued 2 bad sg wins. Yaga took a lot of my time this month, it was a tad bit of slug to go through in the mid game, but still had fun.
Also also I finally got back into Cyberpunk modding! Kinda hyperfocused for like, 3 days but then now I’m not working on it anymore which…idk, I’ll get back to it eventually. xD
And I’m aiming to go back to writing, too many WIPs, not enough willpower to finish them, but I have to! For my blorbo, and myself. :3
So next month will likely also not be too many killings, but we’ll see when next month rolls around~
