Update 11
Christmas is all around 🎅
Games beaten:
It's a solid game, very fears to fathom inspired, but I can't say I enjoyed the sewer section. Other than that it was great, but I need a little more to rate it higher.
Another decent halloween game, fun for the day but not something you'd really come back to, despite there being a somewhat endless mode.
It deservers the hype, though I wish it was a little longer. Even though the main focus is the story, I really enjoyed the dispatching gameplay as well.
Idk what’s happening with this game:
This game is bad. It's really bad and if we're being real, no one would touch this if it wasn't pokemon. I'm not a pokemon fan, but I wanted to understand, I wanted to be able to join in on the conversations about pokemon, so I bought the game, because for the first time it is not turn based. For a bit, I had fun. I was enjoying it, learning the different pokemon, the little guys are cute. I'm glad they tried something new with the combat, but the game is just so flawed and ugly that it barely even matters. You'll have people say, 'oh but the png windows aren't even a big deal, it looks fine for the Switch, you're nitpicking' but why are we defending pokemon when games like tears of the kingdom exist on the Switch? I don't understand why they insist on pushing out a pokemon game every year, if this was given more time to cook, it could have been something good, there was potential, especially with the Switch 2 hardware. I don't know if I'll be playing more of this, I kind of want to finish it, but also there's so many better games I could be playing in its place.
Games abandoned:
Sorry guys, this one was long coming. I just couldn't make myself go back to it, for some reason I wasn't enjoying the gameplay and did not get too invested in the story either. It had some cool parts, but overall it just didn't click for me.
I made a mistake with this one by not looking into it at all before buying and just trusting the raving reviews. If I saw the gameplay before buying, I probably could have guessed this wasn't for me. I like puzzle games, but not rougelikes, especially when I feel like all I'm doing is battling the RNG. Before abandoning, I still wanted to give this a proper shot so I looked up guides for beating it. When I saw how complicated it was, I figured there was no way I was going through all of that, while being to a certain extent reliant on luck.
Currently playing:
New backlog additions:
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (birthday gift from my brother with Dispatch too)
The Darkside Detective, Song of Farca, Neo Cab (from generous SG people)
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen
Call of Juarez Gunslinger
The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark
Where Winds Meet (f2p)

Oh i didn’t think Dispatch was so short, that’s good to know !
Congratz for your month !
I suppose it at least benefits from replayability, being a choices matter type game :)
