Discovered this game thanks to Mahry's post, and it is super great! It's an unobtrusive desktop idler with an easy way to toggle off the visibility if you find it getting in the way, the mechanics are simple but does what they needed, and the most amazing part is the breeding mechanic. You can breed animals together to get their money output added up together, yet there's a cap with 4 star where as 5 star you can't breed and can only purchase, yet doesn't have a cap. What's more amazing is you can specify what color the child gets from the parent, so to get all 5 star for a specie you really only need to purchase 1 five star, and you can bulk purchase until you get specified star animal!! I opted to try and get all the different colored 5 stars for all the animals, so it took much longer for me to 100% 5 star the encyclopedia, but the process was really pleasant, coming back to check my money count, putting it on auto purchase for the next 5 star if my money is enough, breeding duplicate five stars with new colors I didn't get etc. I really liked the game. :)

A cleaning game with actual enemies that you need to kill? Kinda interesting. It's basically Viscera Cleanup Detail but with an upgrade/shop system and a bit more tools. If you like that game, you will like this. If you don't, you won't. But cleaning games are just my jam and VCD is what introduced me to them, so I like this game as well. :3 The only "annoying" thing in the first level is the customer, but the second run of the map I'm smart and left the drive thru as the last location to clean, so I only had to deal with it once. :D

May actually played a horror game for October pagywosg? More likely than you think. :P I've actually never read Goosebumps when I was little, I did see it once or twice but it's not as widely popular as it's probably is in the US. We do have similarly equivalent "tiny horror novels" that's actually sold in convenient stores, with romantic novels of the same size for an alternative. I read through a few of the pages at a store once, and then got quite spooked so never really looked at them ever again. lol

Is this game spooky however? I would say if you're a scaredy cat like me, yes it is a lil bit. The atmosphere is quite well done, and the few jumpscares are all pretty much well deserved. The scariest moment is the escape sequence in the employee hall, the darkness and scary noises really got my heart pumping! I played the first playthrough mostly blind, except some places where I was stuck and had to use a guide, since I wanted to interact with everything, and there was step limit achievements which would impede that. I got to say the item usages are mostly logical, although finding the actual clues for some of the puzzles is the bigger problem in this game, instead of moon logic like other Point and Click games.

The more annoying thing is getting all the achievements. Not only does that require 2.5(for me it's 3.5 since I played the first one not "perfectly") playthroughs with a guide, the specific conditions that you have to fullfill is quite annoying, and there's a ton of cases where you'll miss it if you didn't get it. And also, the tediousness of the random chute items(I stg I did like, 20 to get all of the items my RNG was horrible) and the mannequin RNG does not make sense.

But still, I had a lot of fun with the game! And someone that grew up on the Goosebumps would likely enjoy all the references and the world. :3 Give it a try if you own it, cuz it's not purchasable anymore due to licensing expiration.

Bit of a late post. This month is a pretty slow month, but I’ve got some stuff happening irl, and also I’ve gotten back to writing finally. :D Mostly cuz of Kinktober, and I really had a lot of fun with the prompts. :3
