Hitman: Sniper Challenge

This is a small mini-game to sweeten the wait for the appearance of "Hitman: Absolution". ^^

You sit on a roof and have to eliminate all 14 bodyguards and the target person with your sniper rifle.
To do so, you can complete 14 challenges, which increase the points multiplier.
And thus can improve your highscore more and more.

Hitman: Absolution

I'm actually quite satisfied that I've needed for this game now two weeks.
And didn't completed it in a day or two!

It's a realy good game and of course you can get through the levels likewise by shoot, but that's not the purpose of this game!

With me it was so that I didn't want to be discovered and when I was discovered, I just reloaded the last checkpoint. ^^

There are moments where you think you will not be seen and then you will be seen,
and when you think you will be seen and then you will not be seen. - It's to smile. =)

I love Hitman - Especially the melody "Ave Maria". =))
I get everytime goosebumps, when I hear it.

That was my first Hitman and… it’s just great! Totally got into it! Totally loved it! (It’s rather though getting back to the older ones after starting with this one :D)
I’m totally for those stealthy kind of games <3
And I’m impressed you got all cheevos! thumps up

Have a great time!
Happy backlog killing :)

Wildstorm

I think with “cheevos” do you mean achievements?
I thought first I couldn’t get everyone like “Partners in Crime” and “Contender”.
But fortunately I have someone in my list of friends, who had already created such a competition. ^^

And all other achievements come either by themselves or you just look at how to get them. =)
And you’re still missing 15 achievement! - I see you have killed Lenny. ;P

Have a great time, too!

ninglor03

Yep. Cheevos = achievements.
Learned that here, loved it, kept it :D

Uhm… I killed Lenny? Have I? :D
Can’t remember. It’s been a while.
I actually started to hunt those cheevos ( :D ) and then some other game interrupted that. I’ll definitely try to get there one day, because I enjoyed it a LOT! So maybe one day they’ll come around :)

Wildstorm

There is an achievement with the name:
Das ist es nicht wert
Sie haben Lenny in der Wüste zurückgelassen.

Und diese hast du nicht. ;P

The Schubert Ave Maria is indeed a gorgeous piece of music. If you’d like to hear another wonderful Ave Maria, my favorite is the one written by Franz Biebl and performed, respectively, by a men’s group, a mixed group and a women’s group. In all cases, be sure to stick around for the final ending which is different from the first two verses. They start around 4:20 minutes into the women’s and mixed group versions, and about 3 1/2 minutes in the men’s version. I’ve performed the men’s and mixed voice versions a couple of times, and it remains one of my favorites!

Wildstorm

I have now listened to the three versions, but I just didn’t get goosebumps - Sry. ^^
This is the only and true version for me! =))
And so far I haven’t known that this is sung in German. :D

Trent

Most outside Germany are more familiar with Its Latin Catholic prayer version (Ave Maria = Hail Mary), but Schubert was German, so it was certainly sung in German in his day especially. I wasn’t aware that Hitman uses the German version– that’s cool! =)

I enjoyed hitman absolution. I know people didn’t like it, saying it was ‘too linear’ after it followed on from blood money, but I still found the smaller levels worked well enough in providing a playground of assassination. There were enough different ways to approach every kill that it never felt as boring as other action games. I’m also enjoying the new hitman game a lot, taking it in slowly, giving myself a chance to fully experience each level before moving on to the next.

Trent

Hitman Absolution is pretty high in my backlog, but probably still not high enough to be played in this decade. Kill me now.

Haha I know that feeling. Sometimes I look at the games I haven’t even installed, let alone played and wonder what the hell I’m doing. Why are there so man brilliant games still there? Why can’t I win the lottery so I don’t have to work for a year, and can spend all my time gaming?
