Not a lot of games this month. Mostly due to the graduation trip at the start of the month and also idk, I just don't feel like gaming much this month. :P It's kinda the same problem I have where I look at all the games I have downloaded yet I don't want to play any of them. Hopefully playing some new games will solve that!

This is a Monthly Theme game. Played the main game a long time ago but totally forgot about the DLCs since you had to launch it form the game folder. I must say I'm biased since I like To the Moon very much, and these two DLCs just brings me back to the universe I know and love.

For the first one, I love the conversations at the party and I absolutely adore the mini-game. It just brings back so much memory. And then idk if it's the one can of beer I had but I cried a lot when they were talking in the meeting room. I think it's the building up from the mini-game to the actual talk. Why can't people just be happy with what they have? I would wish everything for SigmundCorp to actually be a thing in our world, and there they are protesting it. And while I cry Neil is just cracking jokes like it's nothing, and I love it. It made me smile.

The second one just gives me so much chills holy shit. Especially the ending. My hair were all standing when that happened, even though I already know it's gonna happen since I watched a playthrough beforehand. I love the way the game builds mystery so much. :D

So yeah, I love the DLCs a bunch. Would definitely recommend!

👍Positive:

Very cute pixel art. Nice communicative devs.

🤷Neutral:

Gameplay is a bit hard.

Full review

This is a pagywosg game. A platformer, which I kinda was unsure if I'll like about since my experience with most platformers are not great. Thankfully this one's not bad.

In this game you can control two characters that needs to work together to reach the exit. You have the guy that can dash which more often than not resulting in me dying accidentally cuz I pressed the wrong button. And then there's the girl who can double jump, which is just super great for getting those medals. Gameplay wise, I don't really have much of a problem except factory level 12 and the entirety of management levels. Factory level 12 I just couldn't figure it out at first since I forgot I can dash in air. Management levels really "spike" up the difficulty with a lot of extra spikes and precise jumping requirements so I died quite a bit. And since I wanted to get all the collectibles in 1 try it tends to get more annoying since I'll have to do everything all over again if I die. But I don't hate it tho. I think it's probably due to me not getting to the point of rage quitting. :P And I didn't attempt hardcore or old timer mode since I know for sure I'm gonna rage at those.

Art style and music I think is the strength of this game. It has a very lovely and cute pixel art style. I just absolutely adore the girl's walking animation and the one strand of hair on her head that moves on its own. So cute! The music on the other hand are really nice. Definitely something I can jam to. Although it does get a bit repetitive if you die a lot.

Overall I enjoyed the game. The devs seems pretty active in replying to reviews, discussions and even Youtube let's plays which is just great. Shows that they really love the project. How can I not recommend such nice devs. :3

👍Positive:

HOG's gameplay. No achievements. Teleport ability.

👎Negative:

Story boring. Cheap and bad jumpscares.

This is a Challenge Me game. I'm starting to really like these HOGs that don't have any achievements. Makes the game much more relaxing since I don't have to worry about it.

This game is still "horror" themed with cheap old-timey jumpscares. I only fell for it one time tho, which is quite nice. Guess I'm getting better at these huh? :3 What I like about this game tho compared to the previous 2 I've played is that the HOG spots never repeat, and the game also uses that to allow you to get certain items after clearing the spot(like getting the plank ladder after clearing the tree house). And although there's still a bunch of backtracking, it's made much better with the teleport ability. The game also highlights the next place to go on the map which is super nice since I got lost a few times.

👍Positive:

Some levels are pretty interesting. Quick 100%.

👎Negative:

Kinda boring. BGM repetitive.

This is a pagywosg game. I'm not sure what to say about this game. You play an archer shooting poop from the sky, and you need to avoid shooting other black people. There's some levels that are pretty interesting, but still it's just a simple game that's pretty boring. Another thing is, the background musics of this game are pretty interesting. I'm not sure if they are original or even copyrighted, but they sound like famous background musics remixed. It loops between a couple of songs and become repetitive so I ended up turning it off.

See you next month~:3
