I was kind of interested in seeing the differences between an F2P clicker and a costly one.
First of all, if you have played any of those F2P out there, don’t expect anything that long. We are talking about 1-2 orders of magnitude shorter here.
Being this the only costly clicker I’ve tried I can’t really compare them, maybe I just played a particular short/poor one. Also, even at full price it’s cheaper than most basic packs you can buy in those F2P ones.

All in all, it’s a nice clicker game, but a very basic one.
It has only 5 variety for each type (plants, bushes, trees) plus just 4 animals you can use to earn money and they don’t even have graphics enhancement when they get upgraded.
Bonuses are scarecrows, dogs, multipliers and longer helpers’ working time while you’re away.

After a bit of playing in your garden will inevitably reside chaos:
this because the playfield is a “layered” 2D (it’s a bit hard to explain, guess looking at some screenshots will do better) so you have objects in front of other objects with no possibility to move them to see behind. Once something is placed you cannot interact with it anymore (apart from removing it from the garden), you can only click to pick stuff or chase beasts away.
Also, if you play with audio enabled, every non vegetable being makes its sound (actually, I think butterflies and ladybugs do not make any) ..now try to think having 50, 100 or more of them active at the same time.

As you can see, in just about 8 hours I was able to unlock every achievement, and there’s not much more to do after. Actually, there wasn’t much to do for a while already. After the first 20-30 (40 perhaps) levels the initial good vibes left place to “meh, will it still take long?”.
Come to that, the reach level 100 achievement will take you the longest.
Don’t know if it’s a bad design of it or a wanted “feature” (to extend playtime) but while you’re away, be it 30’ or 10h, you can only gain one level at most. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe it’s because I’m used to F2P clickers that I’m a bit dissappointed by this one, but you can try it if you want something to relax, fill a couple of minutes here and there, or if you’re interested in clicker games but don’t want to spend hundreds of hours clicking things :)
Lastly, I think this game plays better on smartphones than PCs.
Not sure, maybe a 6+/10.

Scavengin’ time!

Here’s what I found in the game:
Garden equipment : Do scarecrows fit the category? I’ll remove it if not.
Man's best friend : Yup, that’s a dog. It keeps wild animals away. Good dog :)
