Who am I?
I guess the more logical question would seem to be: Who is 390-H? By the end of the game that is pretty clear though. Well at least we know the current version. We also have a pretty good understanding of the rest of the characters. We even know what the République is - in a way. Bc in the end there are still questions. For example: Is the top floor from E4 really "on top" or is it in truth still indoors? Where are the Pre-Cals really coming from? (I'm betting on cloning. But then again do we just skip the baby stage? Are they already teens, when it starts? And what if not? Who takes care of them before that? We never come across a nursery or anything like it.) Are all of them ultimately "breaking" or can they actually follow the rules made by the headmaster? I guess we will never know the last one. Also: Why would you keep that many guards around a place like that? What about teacher, actual human beings who could influence the Pre-Cals. Right. Influence the Pre-Cals, that's the tricky part about that though. Not gonna happen I guess.
So that is all - more or less - worked out. But: Who am I in that game? I'm just a mysterious entity on the phone, who for some reason is both capable and willing to help Hope (390-H). Why though? Why do we care? And who is the Data Broker, who helps out at a certain point? Ok, no, he makes kinda sense. He wants all the info he can get, that's fine. So in the end the biggest question - actually the one question I had from the start - is never solved. Quite disappointing tbh. In fact the last episode was a bit of a let-down. I didn't like 4 that much already, but at least it explained a lot of things. So that was ok. But 5? Apart from sending Hope around the place - why can't the grownups just do shit? Why do they send around a kid who’s shaken up and probably in shock. Yeah, it's the smart thing to do and it worked out nicely up to that point. So let's just keep doing it that way, right? I hated the cameras in 5 btw. Most annoying enemies in the whole game -.-
So yeah, not only does 5 not really explain anything, apart from the beginning of the episode, but it also leaves us pretty hopeless at some point. I had literally no idea what I was supposed to do - nor how the heck it worked out. Normally we controlled tech, but that…? Yeah. I couldn't press space. Nor would anybody give me instructions. What the heck was that? And how was that even important? I have no idea. But I came through it. And couldn't help Hope in the end with the big question, bc whatever I choose, she has a different idea how it's supposed to work out. Which is very much of a let-down.
But I loved the first three episodes. I liked 4 and I was disappointed by 5. Still. It's getting 4 of 5 stars. I very much liked how I never had direct control - well ok, I had, but it looked like we directed Hope only via the camera and that was nice.
No LEWDness, nor Gay-ship included (although there was this moment where you got background about some Prizrak… Yeah, ok, not rly.)
Recommendation? Yes!

Cat Story ahead!

Alright, this is becoming a new habit or what? I’m AGAIN ill. Or getting better by now. But was, over the weekend. So stupidly annoying! So again, no pics. I didn’t forget them, I promise!

So much from me :)
Have a lovely week!
