Another sg win down

3rd game beaten for January

Won this via Playing Appreciated, a fairly recent group whose only requirement is to play games won within a month. Recruitment thread for those interested :)

Game is a bit short (only 3 not-so-wide areas) but you could play them endlessly, even after you complete the missions, thanks to exploration mode.
Every quest either asks you to catch fish(es) or to take photo(s). While these looks like easy tasks, you’ll have to wander a bit to find the accomplish them and you’ll get to enjoy the environment this way :)
Sea-beds are nice crafted and there’s quite a lot of life :)
Most probably you’ll experience positive vibes while playing, not fear or other negative feelings. I admit I was a bit worried first time I was running out of air and first time I encountered a crab (they attack you) but I’ve never died and I wasn’t scared; on the contrary, I enjoyed the whole experience, which was a first for me (even though virtual) since I can’t swim =P

The only “cons” I can think of are a poor menu system, where you don’t know what buttons do, just can guess looking at pictures and the absence of a “how to play” (didn’t know hot to take photos at first, discovered “by luck” while playing. Mouse wheel to choose between speargun and camera btw). Not sure but I think I remember that game options are a bit scarce too.

About achievements: some appear to be bugged (I got both Swim underwater for 10km and for 100km when I bought an upgrade, don’t know if I had already swam the quota) but are all quite easy to achieve; the ones I couldn’t unlock in a single playthrough require to:
Take 200 high quality snapshots (currently at 121/200, you can easily achieve it during the playthrough)
Achieve an accuracy of 95% or more, with 200+ fish. (fulfilled both conditions but I read that you have to catch all of them at once to achieve it. The lower levels of this unlocked fine so this could be a bug/programmer error)
Spend 24 hours underwater (currently at 10,144 / 86,400 seconds ≈ 2.81 hours. Being in the game doesn’t count, you have to be in water; not sure about being underwater, someone stated that it works even if you’re on the surface)
They don’t look hard though, so I intend to 100% it sooner or later :)

If you want a relaxing title, I think this will work nicely :) A bit overpriced perhaps at full price.

I didn’t unlocked the 24 hours underwater, but I read that there is a macro to make it easier. One of the guides on steam had a link to it.

I think that if you put the game in background it auto-pauses so I’m going to level up and keep the message onscreen (which do not pauses the game - they say) while I won’t be using the PC. Doing this a couple of times should be enough :)
