Not bad. Very placid walking simulator with a subtle splash of horror. If you look, you will usually find that splash in all his games that aren't overtly horror in nature.

Not bad. Very placid walking simulator. Same review as Pluviophile basically, only this one focuses on winter and I didn't find a horror element, which is odd considering what I just wrote in my above brief lol..

Wrapped up Halo 3: ODST. Might actually be my favorite. Dunno. Toss up between this and Reach ATM. Anyway, only Halo 4 left to go, which drops tomorrow IIRC.

It was aight. I have no idea how to interpret the symbols used as puzzle combinations in the game, so I just winged it. Overall though, meh. Definitely won't be seeing all the endings.

This one was pretty fun. Most of the cheevos are for finishing with different characters, and at least two of those are bugged. Gameplay wise, it's pretty typical node based exploration across the map. I'd recommend however, exploring ALL the nodes in the first map, then hauling ass through the next two lol. As far as zombie games go, this one was worth playing for sure. Also perfect for mobile, although I haven't tried it there.

Whole lotta average in a genre (turn based tactical) where there are a lot of excellent choices to…ummm…choose from. I'd recommend doing that. This one does nothing particularly well and isn't particularly noteworthy outside of the graphics, which are nice. Plus, it's a definite contender to be in a bundle.

Great game, but crash-ey as hell on the map loading screens (and others, although the loading screens are where I experienced them repeatedly), even with the current fixes that are detailed in the hub and videos. I'm sure this will be a case by case scenario, but for me, it rendered the game unplayable, and quite frankly, I have no interest in trying to fix games for developers who are still actively developing games, but ignore well known and widely reported issues with their already released games. Plenty of other stuff to play. At some point, I'll test out the PS4 version, which I also own, but for now, I'm done with this one.

This is definitely a great pen and paper game that failed a bit in its video game translation. Especially the actual kingdom building parts. The actual adventuring is what you would expect from a table top campaign really. YMMV for sure, but this one got kind of tedious in my opinion.

Actually, this one is fun, but for some reason, I just wasn't feeling it after a few hours. I would actually still recommend it though if you enjoy rogue-lite games and/or flying games.

Well, maybe not retired, but I tried it out for free weekend for a splash. One day maybe I'll buy it and keep things going. It seemed fun, the little I played of it.

Weirdly, this one made me verify a DLC (on Topware's site) before I could enter the game. That is not good. I already owned the DLC however, so yeah. This game is firmly set in 7th gen gaming for sure, and with all the classic open world RPG tropes of that era. That said, it still does feature the best magic system around, and the game is interesting enough. Probably will play this piecemeal over a few months however. I initially bought this while waiting for Skyrim to release lol, and it's one of the final 7th gen games I still have on my must try out and possibly finish list, so there is that.

This is one of the all time great games. I'd encourage everyone to give it a go. I personally will be playing this off and on for a long long time.

It's an alright PnC. It does however love it's stereotypical obtuse point and click puzzles, which is never awesome. Overall, it clicks all the boxes adequately outside of those old school crap puzzles. I'll probably wrap this one up this week.

Aw, I’m sorry that Pathfinder wasn’t your thing. No shame if you just don’t like it, but if there are just a few concrete issues you had with it (like Kingdom management) then it might be worth checking out some fan mods. There are a lot of quality of life mods that might make the game more enjoyable for you, including speeding up some of the tedious aspects (KM really was poorly handled).

It probably just wasn’t your kind of game, but I loved it enough that I felt I had to at least point out the modding option =D I admit my bias though; I’ve kickstarted the sequel and wishlisted the DLCs for Kingmaker.

robilar5500

Well, Pathfinder itself is right in my wheelhouse, although I wish it was less Diablo 3 and more Baldur’s Gate. I will definitely look into the quality of life mods when I’m ready to give the game another look. Didn’t even think to look at those before.

Don’t worry, Grounded is in the right category. I “finished” it with a friend, because I always enjoy coop games but Grounded being Early Access isn’t just for show. The game is really unfinished, the story points no where and it feels repetitive rather fast since content is definitively lacking too. Sadly :(

robilar5500

Yeah. That’s the sense I got. It was fun building a little base and killing ants and such, but I’d like to see what Obsidian’s final vision for the game is before jumping in again.
