Well... I did improve this month at least? 7 is certainly better than 6, and I actually spent a lot more time playing overall I think. I was mostly focussed on Mount and blade warband and Deus ex human revolution, both of which are longer games. As you'll see I finished mount and blade, and it went straight to the top of my longest time taken to beat, having taken more than 6 years. Apart from those 2, it was the usual mix of randomness, still feel like I need to get some of my bigger games done and uninstalled before I move on to some of the new big games I have waiting

On a personal front, I've been very busy in the garden, building a jungle gym for the kids and putting up fences. Years ago just after school I worked as an apprentice in a piano repair shop, and I don't think I've been this fit and strong since that time, and I remember how much I do like working with my hands. Even if I've had to crawl to bed a few times now after a long hot days work. I conclude that I've over engineered the jungle gym a bit in terms of structural strength, but being as we intend to be here for a while, maybe it will still be strong enough for grandkids one day. Long term goals!

This month I will probably still try and finish Human Revolution directors cut, just because it's one of my favourite games and it would be nice to have it in my beaten list. I will also probably return to Sniper Elite 4, as there's a hardcore run I still need to finish.

Ahhhh yes, this is a good game. It was one of the first games I started playing on steam and had one fairly long campaign almost done, but got frustrated at the end when the last faction wouldn’t give up, and by that point I’d got other games an moved on.

Hahaha, that sounds almost like me. M&B is a great game and one of my first Steam games as well. I played the With Fire and Sword expansion some time ago, but it’s not as good as Warband.

And I hope that your grandkinds indeed get to enjoy your jungle gym in the future :)

Yeah there’s a lot of games like that, where I’ll play it and enjoy it for a while, but get distracted and then come back later and wonder why I stopped playing. I really hope the have stuck to the warband formula for bannerlord.

And yeah, it’s probably still 20 years in the future before we get grandkids that are big enough to use a jungle gym, but I’ve always liked the idea of having a family home that will always be a source of comfort for our own kids, even when they are grown and have families of their own.
