This completion was a little more special than usual. A couple years ago, my original playthrough of Bioshock Infinite got interrupted by some pretty bad personal issues. It all worked out eventually, but I was never really able to get back into the game for some reason. It's always tough for me to jump back into a game after leaving it for a long time, and it ended up just kind of sitting and sitting. Finally after buying the season pass on sale recently, I convinced myself to get back into the game. I watched a let's play to reorient myself to the story and the gameplay and picked up where I left off, and wow the game got even more fun as it went on! I don't pretend to understand the ending... and I'm not sure I liked it, but the journey to get there was worth it. It's such a graphically beautiful game with good character development and relationships. It just feels pretty good too to finally beat this game, especially with knowing the reason why I never finished it in the first place. I know it's just a game but felt kinda liberating. I'm so glad I finished it.

I played a couple other games too. Rebuild 3 is a pretty fun zombie sim game that's way more in depth than it seems, kinda straddling the line between comedy and drama. Though I didn't like the ending of that either. :P And Hydrophobia was a fun game that I played during last month's challenge me theme. Right now, I'm slowly making my way through Night of the Rabbit and Ori and the Blind Forest (kinda sorta), and I just picked up Mass Effect Andromeda on Origin (RIP free time)!

Rebuild is a game that I’d like to get my hands on, but the price is always ridiculously expensive for me.

Yeah I know what you mean. I might not have even got it but for a birthday present from one of my friends cause we really like zombies, haha.

Zeruel

Well, lucky you :)
I’m guessing the friend is glad that you enjoyed the game enough to finish it :D
