Sadly the game has a very slow start, for me at least.
I had to endure, but later the game really got interesting after the Story really began to unfold.

I actually didn't expect much when I started this game.
It only seemed semi-interesting to me when I saw it on steam, but when it arrived on Game Pass I decided to give it a try.

The whole game is very well made, how they tell the story is just awesome!
It's basically a interactive story book, you never do really much, but the story is interesting and again, very well made!

This game was really fun!
it's fast paced, you can slow time, it has a bit of difficulty, but not too much.
The whole story is kinda weird, at times it's even hard to say what happened.
But it is for sure interesting!

The only thing I want to complain is the "To be continued"

Tough call for me.
I love Slay the Spire and I just have to compare them.
Monster train is a good game to me, but since it also focuses on ascensions, deck building, classes and such it falls a bit short to me

The first 5 or so sucessful runs and the fails inbetween were really fun, but to me the game brings not enough to the table to play it until ascension 25.
The Monster placing mechanic is for sure interesting, but mayb be a bad match for me.

This game would be good…… if they would not want from you the repeat the exact same game several times.
I played one game through, the game was like "nah do it again fo progress"
You basically just get reborn, to the same dungeons and all every time, till you get an actual ending on the 5th? playthrough

The first playthrough was good and fun, but I would not want to repeat it that many times
