August/September: All Things GREAT and small

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be gigantic, like Godzilla, or teeny tiny like Arrietty? How about we try it out in this new theme? It's all about games where characters or things are significantly bigger or smaller than their surroundings, like Little Nightmares or Grounded, or where they grow or shrink by a ridiculous amount, like in Alice in Wonderland-inspired games or through (de)buffs in games like Raccoin. Alternatively, you can also focus on animal-themed games, as the title for the theme is based on the British books and tv shows "All Creatures Great and Small".

FAQ

Do I have to participate in this month’s theme?
No, as with every theme, these are merely suggestions for anyone who is unsure about what to play next. If you already have a battle plan for your backlog and/or don’t like this month’s theme, you’re free to ignore it.

What happens if I don’t participate in the theme?
Nothing.

What happens if I play all of my unfinished games before the theme is over?
Your backlog will be a much smaller place.

I don’t have any unfinished games - I’ve beaten everything I’ve started.
Really? well that makes one of us… I salute you.

I already finished my entry can I play another?
Go ahead - the goal is to reduce your unfinished games list. The more you can play the better.
