Just my silly space for gaming.
Games I finished at november!
One of the best platformers Ive played EVER.
Its difficult enough by itself and it has a bunch of extra content with a lot of more difficulty if you want to get the 100% in the game, doing all the missions and postgame.
Because yes, it has a postgame which basically gives you a bunch of extra levels and bosses to do.
The game includes a bunch of collectibles hidden if thats your thing. And it emulates retro games but which a very modern approach that makes it feel very unique.
Im over 30 hours and still playing because theres still things to do. Really recommend it!
If you like point and click maybe youll like this one, but even then, I feel it has its problems.
Both puzzles and typical logic… are illogic as they can be. The game alway requires you thinking in such specific ways the game is nearly impossible without a guide.
Characters are… meh. Mostly all annoying and while plot seems interesting and seems to peak around episode 5, it all goes crashing down towards the end and a certain twists makes a lot of stuff in the game to seem useless or a waste of time. Frankly I didnt enjoy nothing too much, both gameplay and story were kinda dissapointing.
Interesting game, I feel a bit conflicted though.
Plot is good enough, though it makes you cross with a lot of annoying characters that may obstaculize your way, but thats part of the journey. As the protagonists learns more about herself.
An on my side, I am discovering I suck at these point and click games.
Still, I guess its worth it.
A bit late but these are the games I completed in October
Good enough game, though I feel it could have been a lot better, it simply didnt stuck much with me I guess.
Probably a bit of that is my fault though. I played this not having checked the first game (people said it wasnt necesary) but it feels I probably would have enjoyed some more things if I had.
Really fun game.
Both lore and the world are very bizarre and a bit scary but the whole story keeps a vibe of a fairy tale.
Gameplay can get possibly a bit repetitive (you need to constantly “farm” energy to throw the dice that decides what weapons, traps and other stuff you can summon) but is otherwise very creative and fun. Even though the game can be overally very easy.
Games I finished at september.
Fun enough game.
Not recommended for anybody not used to the weird logic of point and click games.
Some puzzles didnt age well.
I hate the ocean phase.
I almost fucking died of a scare.
Fun game otherwise.
Fun game.
Made me depressed, though. Im bad with games dealing with the death of loved ones.
This are the games I played and finished in August.
Relatively short game, but it has a bunch of decisions with their own consequences and it gives you some relatively freedom to get your own theories on the criminals even if you messed up.
Its a very good noir cop simulator.
Decent enough game.
It can get tricky as most point and click. But entertaining enough and the puzzle logic doesnt get too absurd.
One thing, this is basically about a turist trying to solve a mystery so be prepared to be treated like crap by most characters when you try to get your nose in their business.
Beyond that, my real complains… well, some puzzles didnt age well, and the old animations are kinda ugly, and it feels specially weird because some new ones were included.
A third game I finished by the end of the month, wanted to report it.
Amazing game.
It isn’t too long but is very intense and fun. Really recommended.
Love how they combine ranged and melee attack, something I hadn’t seen much on shoot’em ups. And there are enough different weapons to allow you to choose the playstyle you prefer.
The only bad thing (it’s not that bad) are some parts in 3D where the camera shifts around, and it’s a bit hard to gauge the distance of enemies. But it’s a very minor thing.
Beat the main game in normal difficulty but I intend to play it a bit more to eventually finish it in hard difficulty as well.
A little report of the games I have finished by now.
Good game with a very entertaining plot and amazing characters, but seriously, there was some stuff about the gameplay that ticked me off.
… I’m talking of that boss with a 1-hit kill. That was terrible for a game where the whole party loses if the protagonist gets knocked out. I can’t help but think they are details result of the inexperience the company has with turn-based combat. But beyond that, it was an amazing game.
The game goes from a bland beginning, to a more entertaining middle part, and eventually gets bothersome. Because, as it involves a lot of puzzles (easy ones, though) that need to constantly recharge energy to use certain skills, it creates a sense of backtracking.
Then some of the final chapters or so are a bit of a mess.
Chapter 6 has a bunch of potential… for you to mess up and end up blocked needing to quit and continue from the last save point. It has some… not bugs, but mistakes of design that can let you trapped with no way to continue if you dont do what the game expects you to do. You can break it too easily…
And then chapter 7… Its you walking around through a huge forest with no clear goal and getting lost even with a game mechanic supposed to guide you. This level is simply too big and ambiguous for you to navigate it well. Frankly, it almost causes me to drop the game and its the main reason for this score.
So I felt like participating on the new Play or Pay cycle (July to september) and these were the games picked by me.
Already started with Yuppie Psycho, nice pixel art survival horror… ABOUT WORK!!
Anyway, here my list, wish me luck.

Just finished this strange realm of mind. Really weird retro shooter, with a lot psychological themes. Cant exactly describe it beyond that, but if you like those kind of complicated topics, this is your game.
Also, currently Playing Monster Hunter Rise (regular game probably will buy Sunbreak eventually) because of a friend rec. If I get iinto it, maybe Ill buy World someday.
Also playing Hollow Knight!
