Third week of March progress

I am searching for people to play some co-op and multiplayer games with, so if you might be interested see here.

This week is the first one in 2018 where I can actually really say I am happy with my progress \o/ I will probably complete another SG win today, but I will leave that one for next week.

  • Pixel Puzzles Ultimate

    602 hours playtime

    767 of 1096 achievements

  • Wanderland

    204 hours playtime

    71 of 81 achievements

Completed SG wins

  • BAD END

    6 hours playtime

    14 of 14 achievements

BAD END - A pretty short but good VN (took me ~3 hours to 100%). The story is a bit ridiculous at some points but it was entertaining enough to keep me going.

Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist - A narrator game very similar to The Stanley Parable just with a different theme, shorter and free. I love that kinds of games and I have liked this one as well. The game seems to like not to give you some achivements randomly but other than that I would fully recommend giving it a try as it will only take 15-20 minutes of your time.

Life Beetle - I have no idea how this game has such positive reviews on Steam. It is a piece of shit with awful controls that aren’t even explained correctly by the game. The positive part is that it only takes ~20 minutes of your time to beat and then you can throw it in your completed pile and never touch it again.

Relax Walk VR - Well I haven’t really completed this game as I don’t have an VR set and I am not planing to get it either, but the dev added a way to get all the achievements without it that doesn’t involve playing it so that is good enough for me.

Temper Tantrum - All I could think while playing this game is “what the actual fuck is this shit and what was going trough the mind of whoever made it”. Basically you are a baby that goes around 3 different houses and destroying everything it them and avoiding some orb, ghost thingys that put you in timeout?. Everything about it is awful, especially the graphic and camera movement.

Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior - A game for when you are listening/watching a podcast/series/random Youtube videos and you need to do something with your hands. The goal of the game is to clean some kind of samurai(?, I never played Shadow Warrior before) place/museum by disposing of body parts, weaponry and cleaning up the blood. I found it kinda therapeutic, but I really wouldn’t recommend playing it without watching something at the same time or it will get really really boring.

American Truck Simulator - The main problem with this game is that Euro Truck Simulator 2 exist, it is superior over ATS in almost every way and I have over 330 hours in it. I am not saying the game is bad or anything - I really enjoyed my time with it, it has some cool details in the world that ETS2 doesn’t and it was really nice to drive through some different surroundings for a change, but I would take ETS2 over it ever single day of the week.

Gardens Inc. – From Rakes to Riches - A decent clear the road type time management game where you clear some paths and plant some flowers. There is 50 levels in total. I found 2 of them really frustrating, but the rest was completely fine. As a note: a friend of mine apparently had issues with bugged out music. The first thing I did was to mute it so I don’t know if it is an one off issue or an actual problem with the game.

Gardens Inc. 2: The Road to Fame - Same as the first one above, just a little bit easier.

Look into the past

  • The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot

    124 hours playtime

    34 of 36 achievements

  • Lost Lands: Dark Overlord

    4 hours playtime

    24 of 24 achievements

  • 9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek

    3 hours playtime

    19 of 19 achievements

  • Bloons TD5

    176 hours playtime

    125 of 125 achievements

  • Paranormal State: Poison Spring Collector's Edition

    4 hours playtime

    20 of 20 achievements

The Mightys Quest For Epic Loot - Completed in August 2015. P2W castle attack/defense game that got shut down in October 2015.

Losts Lands: Dark Overlord - Completed in September 2015. Don’t have much memory of this, but it seems like a pretty good HOG.

9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek - Completed in October 2015. It is an Artifex Mundi HOG and there is not much more to say™.

Bloons TD5 - Completed in October 2015. I played many games of this series ages ago on Kongregate. It is one of the few tower defense games I don’t suck at and it is really fun at the same time. Only complaint about it that I have at all (I am not even sure if it is still even relevant to this day) is that the co-op sometimes matches you with mobile players and those tend to take forever to load and drop out of the game a lot as well.

Paranormal State: Poison Spring Collector’s Edition - Completed in October 2015. I played so many HOG games in my life that at this point they have all mixed together in one. This one was pretty decent from what I recall.

Gosh! I gotta get started with the monthly puzzle! panic mode on

Nice work with Bad End. Did see you playing it, and yep, I feel you :D
Also, I shall look into the coop stuff, but last time I checked there was nothing I could help out with…

Hope you are doing fine hug

MouseWithBeer

Best of luck with it! It is not too hard and really pretty :3

Thank you :)
I did a little bit of stalking through your games ;D (yay for the “Filter to games you both own” feature on steam also damn, we both own a billion and half HOGs) The only thing I saw was Borderlands 2 :/ So if you are up for that let of know (or We Were Here which is a free game), otherwise I appreciate the thought ^^

guhrgohreiughreiu I just realised I forgot to add some old games to the post as well. Good thing I have a fare share of them already written so I can just copy paste it in :D

I am doing great (I finally have time to play video games :D), hope you are doing well yourself! hugs

ninglor03

Well that’s a good thing then! bounce

HOGS! \o/ :D
Ah, no. Sry. Borderlands 2 isn’t working out for me. Too much motion sickness, too much trouble. Not even sure if I’ll ever get back to it :(
Which probably was also the reason I never replied to the post, because that was already the only game I’ve seen ;)

Yay! It’s always great to find some gaming time! I feel kinda freed ever since I finished today (finally) Root double! Like, completing three games in one day kinda freed :D
I’m… doing okay-ish. Stressing myself out over some appointment with a doctor, buuuuut yeah, I can’t avoid that any longer, so nothing we can do about it :]

MouseWithBeer

Ouch :/ motion sickness isn’t fun :c I have been doing a lot better in that regard now \o/ Temper Tantrum gave me a little bit of it due tho the weird camera movement, but it wasn’t nowhere near as bad as what was going on a couple of months ago :)

Congrats on beating it! ^^ And I wish you the best for the doctor appointment! :)

ninglor03

Well that is super good to hear! And every game is different for everybody, right? ;)

Ha, thanks. It’ll work out. Some way or another ;)
