The first game was good, but this one is even better. It has a better save system, better combat, NPC interactions, and better control. Similar to the first one, it has beautiful graphics and music. Pretty much a must-play for Metroidvania fans.
Games that are supposed to be scary never seem scary to me, so I can't judge it from that standpoint. I'm not sure if it is even supposed to be scary, but I did see some people mention that it is. I did enjoy the atmosphere though and exploring the whole station. I know some people have issues with the backtracking, but I don't think it is a problem. You are on a space station that you have to work to explore and open up areas that were locked down or inaccessible before. In some ways, it kind of plays like a FPS Metroidvania. Having it be linear wouldn't really make sense. The station is well-interconnected, so getting around is pretty quick.

Ori is a great game, it’s nice to know the second one is even better.
Spot on about Ori. A fantastic game all around!
And I didn’t find Prey all that scary either. In fact I wanted one of those little shapeshifters as a useful pet that could be a coffee cup when I needed it to.
