Update no. 7

Here are new things added to my backlog since my last update:

Call of Duty: World at War

5th part of this famous FPS series. Extremely short singleplayer (took me about 4h on normal). Maybe because I had so much fun rushing at those enemies and dropshotting them (LOL!). Anyway, I can recommend it if you were COD fan like me :] Multiplayer is not dead, a lot of deficated servers are still up with many people playing on them. Zombie mode is just amazing however I have a feeling that I enjoyed it more in Black Ops 1 on PS3 :)

Evolve Stage 2

Complete remake of Evolve which was made F2P. Had a lot of fun while playing with friends however I become bored very fast in this game. Extremely repetitive for me, only one mode (Hunt) and... the same loading animation which was pissing me off haha. Will definitely play it from time to time with friends :)

Dear Esther

Very nice and relaxing game which I had finally decided to play thanks to our Monthly Theme! Its soundtrack really inspired me and exploring those caves was a nice experience.

Ah, that World at War screenshot brings back memories. We played Nacht der Untoten a lot with a couple of friends when we were younger. But I agree with you, Black Ops 1 hit the sweet spot with Zombies campaign! The latest zombie maps are just way too big with all their secret rituals and such, makes them confusing for a casual player. That’s just my opinion, I know many people love them.

Did you finish the main campaign on what difficulty? Recruit, Regular, Hardened or Grenade spam?

Hrdzk

I’m used to playing on Normal difficulty. It’s high time I changed it ^^

Same here, I usually go with the normal difficulty on games, even though I’d be familiar with the gameplay. It’s always nicer to finish a first playthrough without getting stuck in the tougher checkpoints.

Tristar

CoD WaW is the only one with campaign coop (except the newest recently). Really recommend that too ^^

Hrdzk

does it differ from solo campaign or is it basically the same campaign but in coop?

Tristar

same, i.e. actual coop mode ^^

I recognised that screenshot you posted right away… so many memories of watching my brother kill zombies whilst waiting to play a game I was more interested in. :)

The fact Evolve went free to play seems like a big middle finger to those who actually bought the game initially, even if it was inevitable.
