Monthly Update: July 2023
Spent the majority of the month playing on the Steam Deck, with Fable Anniversary, Slay the Spire and Going Under.
Also bought two games this month! So I guess I'm at 0 again in progress this month 😆

I played the original version at release…nearly 20 years ago.
I don't remember much from then, just slaughtering the village to be able to buy the real estate haha.
Was actually a really fun game, and was a great experience on the Steam Deck.
I originally tried to play it on my PC, but the graphics really bugged me (and the black border on an UW monitor).
Heroic mode was painful in the first couple of hours, but was fairly simple after you get a few things (which means slaughtering villagers for EXP..). I abused the drain life skill for a lot of the game. Skorm's Bow made the last boss of the game really easy as well.
Beaten
Another fun game to play on the Steam Deck.
However, I do not have the patience needed to try 100% this game… likely another 15-20 hours, at least, to complete the game.

Congratulations on all of your assassinations!!
Fable was so painful until I looked up the item duplication glitch. Collected some special potions and absolutely abused that feature! HLTB says I saved 10 hours and I believe it. At least it’s done!
What kinda games are you looking forward to playing next month?
Oooh I don’t know about that glitch!
I tended to just murder spree, use the XP to level, buy a couple of houses then go back constantly to get my money. Which I used to buy potions.
I tended to hoard the health potions and use the drain life skill unless my health went down really quickly in a fight.
I found it really easy to steal at a certain spot at the armorer in Bowerstone South as well, so got a few pieces of chainmail/plate armor there!
Crime really does pay in Fable..
I’m not sure yet, I’m hoping BG3 is good and won’t be to stressful to play multiplayer. I find that I’m horrible at making plans for games to play, and impulsively pick something I’m in the mood for. I did put a couple of games down for the Play a game you won on steamgifts event, such as Submerged and Paperbark.
Small games I hope I can get off the backlog.
Do you have games planned for this month?
Soooo many.
Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell, Like an Angel, Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk, Oxenfree, Blades of Time, Waste Walkers, Lemon Cake, and Wander No More.
