I’ll keep this super short, cuz I gotta stream and play the game I’m not supposed to play—Ghost of Tsushima is gonna grace your eyes for Screenshot Sunday #55. I still can’t believe I can play the game, despite it being delisted in my country and such. And don’t worry, this is the end of the tutorial, so no major spoilers from me. Now, time for me to get back to the game, see what it has and love it, bc I know I will.
Ciao!

GHOST

At this point, everyone who played this game took this screenshot because it is so epic.

The photo mode is a letdown tho. I enjoy the game very much, but am dissapointed by the photo mode which is as bare bones as possible (only camera movement seems to be a thing). Coming to this from Shadow of War, which had one of the best, haha, yeah, not a good time for screenshot taking spammers like me.

Vasharal

That’s true. Sony did better with other IP’s, right?

Sv. Prolivije

Only other one I played was Horizon Zero Dawn, and it had a pretty good Photo Mode. I especially liked that you could cycle the time of day and even the weather I think, not sure about this part.

Vasharal

You can switch weather, effects and such to get what you want.

Ye, the UI is very bad imo, and i didn’t see how you switch the stuff to tinker with. So, now, after doing some tinkering, it’s a good photo mode. Lacks I think Jin in specific poses, emotions are meh, and the free cam range is mid. But other than that, I like the other aspects of it. So, ye, the UI didn’t do it for me, since I’m accustomed to seeing clearly how to switch between the stuff I want to edit, and here it’s more minimalistic (as is the whole game’s UI), thus I didn’t see it at first.

Vasharal

I had no issues. I didn’t find the UI that bad, but not great either.

The Post of Tsushima. :)

I played this a couple years ago. Super fun and the ending was kind of amazing.

Indeed, the game is fun. Exploration is my jam, and I wish more open world games did it this way (less UI icons and map markers, more enviromental tells where to go and what awaits you). The only thing I can complain about (besides the performance issues like memory leaks after an hour or so) is that the in-game cutscenes (when talking to NPCs or accepting missions) feel, flat. They remind me of the Horizon Zero Dawn stuff, where people just stand around and talk. The camera is moving, but the NPCs and you rarely do. And it just lacks cinematography, imo. Feels very amateurish. But, eh, that’s a small complain rly. Rest of the game is excellent.

Say it ain’t so.

Yep, PSN not officially supported here, but guess I got lucky due to a loophole and can play it. So, I got that going for me, ha
