First week of February

We are only 3 days into February but I have completed 5 games already so time for a post.

Review: Basically all there is to it is that you hold your left mouse button and move around the map a bit killing the enemies. I don't think there is any real strategy involved here and I don't even know how to describe it better than as a spiny killy game. Oh and the UI is the single least responsive thing ever and doesn't even have any proper settings.

Review: I honestly can't decide how I feel about this game. On one side it kinda was a cool short experience but on the other more reasonable side it was literally just a pointless walking around and pressing buttons while weird shit is happening.

Review: Slightly platformerish and puzzleish game where you go around different worlds. It ok, but it is sadly quite buggy (I had to restart the game 2x because I simply could not more anymore). Sound settings don't save properly either and while there is a music volume option you can't actually make the music STFU (WTF were the devs thinking?)

Other completed games

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch

Review: Do you want to play a shitty deathmatch game that definitely shows its age against mostly bots? Then this is the game for you. Otherwise pick one of the other half a million games that have a deathmatch mode on the market and it will probably be better than this.

Destiny 2 - Got it for free at some point and played all the main and side missions I could without owning any DLC. It was surprisingly enjoyable after hearing not so good things about it. I do wish there would be more content to it, but I don’t wish for it enough that I would go buy the DLCs. I have no idea how many hours I put into it since it is not on Steam (and as far as I know B.net doesn’t have a time counter anywhere in the client), but me and my friends got a few evenings of playtime out of it.

I played Destiny 2 for some hours, was a nice game, but didn’t really manage to keep my interest.

Half-Life 2: DM sounds like a quick experience to finish…I guess I’ll keep that in mind :D

MouseWithBeer

If I were to play it alone it probably wouldn’t keep my interest that much either, but with friends it was fine.

It is multiplayer only and doesn’t have a story or matchmaking or anything. It is literally just deathmatch. You could probably get a whole lot of hours out of it you wanted and don’t hate it like I did.
