Visual Novel Action

Final chapter in the Grisaia series, this game is a fine conclusion and slightly better than part two.

While it doesn’t have the epic proportions of the first game, The Eden of Grisaia is much more focused than the second one. The story presented is quite long, consistent, well-paced, and no character is left aside. In this game, Yuuji is not in the limelight until the last third, which leaves room for the girls to show they have talents of their own. The backgrounds, dialogues and music are of the same great quality as the other two games. In my opinion, the ending was fine as it really brings closure to the whole arc while still leaving things open-ended.

There are only two things that bothered me a bit: the two incongruous CGI movies that felt out of place and the fact that some of the girls pull off ridiculous supermoves out of nowhere, just to give the story an action-oriented edge.

Hmm action scenes I’ve watched the anime and there definitely are parts that make you question if sachi is sure shes not a secret agent
Its just the 1 route as well isn’t it?

Yes, Sachi, but also Makina’s sniping and Amane’s driving. Regarding routes, there are only two choices. The first one gets you a tiny variation and the other one either gets you the stupid bad ending or the good one.

Yep I loved seeing the girls become badass in the anime but its true that its ridiculous. I mean sachi can do everything, I’m sure if she tried she could somehow fly and teleport. Makina at least makes sense, shes been trained by yuuji to shoot, still very silly but at least it makes the most sense then all the others. Amane I cant remember, its been a while since the anime and I know some things are different between the games at least route wise, considering labyrinth is pretty spot on I assume eden would be to since its not being like you got with this girl and so on. I do know her driving in the fruit of grisaia and she is a demon behind the wheel

It actually makes Michiru and Yumiko seem normal. I mean one tried to repeatedly kill you but once she stopped she was just a loner. Heck she’s me just with cash. Then well Michiru is certainly crazy but somehow one of the most normal compared to those other 3

Grisaia is still my favourite story. I had it since 2015 before all the others existed and compared to other animes with visual novels I think it was a pretty good job at giving you what it was about just without everything that happened between the girls, no harem in the videos
